Good syllabus and curriculum

Overall Rating
Overall, the institute experience is very rewarding. The placement opportunities and the exceptional learning experience is one of a kind. The very ambience of the institute is good as compared to other campuses. The faculty and the other staff are supportive and qualified. Pristine location, excellent syllabus and the curriculum is handcrafted for the upcoming generation of engineers. The journey through the institute is a transformative journey filled with challenges and learning experiences.
 

Academics Rating
The 4 year programme of the B.Tech degree in the institute is divided into 8 semesters 2 semesters for each year. During the first two semesters i.e. the first year, the curriculum basically focuses on the basics that all the various batches need in common for example, basics of programming, biology, Chemistry, etc. From the second year onwards, the syllabus starts focusing on batch specific portions then slowly moves on to core subjects. By the fourth year, placement training starts in order to prepare the students for the various premium companies that come for recruitment.
 

Faculty Rating
Very open-minded faculty. Extremely qualified and diligent and will do anything for completing portions. The majority of the faculty are those who hold doctorates and hold many dignified awards in their respective fields. Always tend to all the needs of students extremely studious in their jobs. The expertise in their own fields is astounding. Always willing to do anything for the students.
 

Placement Rating

Hostel Rating
I’m a day scholar. So, I have not availed hostel facilities
 

Infrastructure Rating
The 400-acre campus is well planned with infrastructures such as academic buildings, research buildings, hostels, swimming pools, guest houses, staff quarters, active gymnasiums, shopping complex, playgrounds, etc. The campus has a built-up area of 28 lakh square feet linked by 7 km black topped roads. Eight hostels that accompany more than 5,000 students and buildings just for research purposes.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is peaceful with a strong emphasis on academics. Excellent infrastructure with breathtaking views of backwaters. The rules are a little strict. Mess food is horrible on some days. The programmes organised by the institute are rare but those are also pretty enjoyable. The connection to the ashram gives the campus a good ambience. The rules for girls are very strict and sometimes even unreasonable.

    My friends are studying in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Amritapuri that is the main reason I chose it. The campus is also near to my house. I also heard there are better placements, which other private colleges do not offer. The campus is situated near the bank of a lake and there is an Ashram of Amritanandamayi, which you cannot find in other institutions, which are situated in the crowded areas of the city.     Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Amritapuri is a very good university. It will be a great opportunity for every student who is aspiring to be an engineer. The faculties are very sincere and dedicated. Each one of the faculties is very friendly and always ready to help you out anytime. The infrastructure of the university is unlike any other.     I chose Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham because my sister was an alumni of the same campus. She recommended me to join here. Although I was looking on to other colleges, after seeing this campus I changed my mind and wanted to join here. The first impression was very good here.     The campus provides a very good atmosphere to the students for their development of skills. One of my friend suggested me the college, his brother was graduated from the same college and got placed in one of the reputed companies.     First of all, I chose Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Amritapuri because the placements are good every year. Second, academics are also taken pretty seriously here. Third, the environment of this institute is also good. The gardens and trees provide a relaxing environment. There is a facility for free Wi-Fi throughout the campus surroundings and library to explore and expand ideas.
