My experience here at JUET, Guna was mixed at first, because there is no life outside the campus as the university is located at outskirts of the city. But after spending my 2 years here, I can say that there's nothing that you may need and is not available inside the campus. I liked the fact that students, here, are prioritized over anything else. I came across this university through Uni-Gauge examination. And I assure you that this university due to its location may come under tier 3 university but except for that, there's nothing that can't define it for tier 2 universities.

I am 3rd year B.Tech Computer Science student here. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that you will develop all the required skill sets to be a Computer Science Engineer. The curriculum covers all the industry demanding skills, whether the technical or soft skill. With the provisions to opt for the elective subject, the curriculum gives you the chance to study the subject that intrigues you the most. The admissions in the university are simply given either JEE Mains or 12th standard percentile.

The most promising part of the college is it's faculties. The majority faculties here are teaching in the college for than 10 years , so the teaching system is stable. Each subject is handled by the faculty with most experience in the subject. Also they are very supportive and always open to help you on any topic, academic or non academic.

Placement here is descent, neither outstanding nor below par. The average package for the last batch was around 6-7 LPA. Highest was 44 LPA (on-campus). The placement cell here is very active, as it constantly shares the internship and placement opportunities as they become available.

Hostels are available in the university. You live in a triple sharing room, with two small partitions for maintaining the privacy and two shared bathrooms for each floor. You get a balcony, a centralized cooling system, an almirah, a book-shelf, a table and a table lamp. The hostels have Wi-Fi.

JUET, Guna spreads over 125 acres with beauty of nature throughout the campus. It has two main gates out of which only one is functional. The campus has vast lake where you may visit and find refreshing. There are shops including Tuck Shops (for snacks and more), Stationary Shop, Garment Shop, General Store, Barber Shop, Fruits and Vegetables Shop and a Juice Corner. It also has a Cafeteria which serves the all day cravings. Now talking about the Academic part, it has a large Academic Block at the center of the campus that is divided into three parts, mainly for, library, labs, and classrooms. The Lecture Theatre and classrooms can be found at the other side of the Block. The library has got huge collections of books of all types. The campus is digitally active throughout with fast connecting Wi-Fi all over.

Talking about the campus life, the best part is JYC, which covers all the wings, and technical clubs. Talking about the Wings, the JYC has 5 wings, Cultural (Dance, CCC, Music, and Drama), Literary, Art, Events, Sports, and Media. We have sports such Football, Basketball, Badminton, Handball, Cricket, Volleyball etc. The JUET teams of each sport go out to compete in other sports fest every year. We have our annual Cultural Fest (De'Equinox) that is a 3 daylong event when the campus has next level energy along all the 3 days. We can see events and programs throughout the day. We also have the Technical Fests and Closed Sports Completions.
