Overall Rating
My experience at the Yenepoya University Mangalore as a BPT student has been good and memorable. I chose the University because of its reputation in the healthcare field and the clinical exposure provided to students. The practical sessions and clinical training shelped me understand Physiotherapy better and gain confidence in dealing with patients. I also liked being around students from different healthcare courses, as it gives me better understanding of teamwork in healthcare. Overall, my journey has had its challenges, but I am happy with what I learned before graduating in 2026.
 

Academics Rating
I chose BPT because I have been interested in the human anatomy and wanted to work in the healthcare field. During my time here, I found that the course was not limited to classroom learning. We had practical sessions and clinical postings where I could actually see and understand how physiotherapy is used with patients. We had regular internal assessments & practical exams, which kept us consistent with our studies. Clinical exposure was probably the most useful part for me because it helped me become more confident and understand what being a physiotherapist is really like.
My fee at this University was reasonable. The fees included the academic and other applicable charges. The exact amount varied depending on the year and other charges.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in the my department has been an important part my experience. Most of the teachers have good knowledge of their subjects and explain concepts using PPTs, classroom discussions, and practical demonstrations. What I liked most was that I could approach the faculty when I had no doubts, especially during practical sessions and clinical postings. They also shared their own clinical experience, which made some topics easier to understand.
 

Placement Rating
for BPT, placements are a little different compared to courses where companies regularly visit the campus for recruitment. The college provides career guidance and exposure to different oppurtunities in the healthcare field.
 

Hostel Rating
I did not stay in the hostel, so I cannot give a personal review about the hostel experience, mess food or hostel rules. However, residential facilities are available for students, and students who are planning to stay on campus should check the current hostel fees.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University 94.52 acres campus. The infrastructure is one of the things I liked during my course journey. The campus has well maintained academics buildings, classroom, laboratories, library facilities, and other spaces for practical learning. I personally found the clinical environment and practical facilities to be the most useful parts of the infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at Yenepoya University, Mangalore has been good part of my journey. I got to meet students from different courses and backgrounds. Memories made during these years are one of the best parts of campus life.

    The reason I chose YDU Mangalore was that it offered education. As I live in Kerala and travel to Mangalore, the distance is short and comfortable. I have checked other Universities too but their fee is much higher and the academics were outdated. My experience here so far is good. The environment is peaceful and the University is good if you want to just study.     The summary of Yenepoya Kulur college is good. Here we can easily get a degree. They teach us very well and the campus life is also good. We have canteen, ground to play basketball, football, badminton etc. The class rooms are good. We have facilities like AC, lifts and other thing as compared to other colleges.
