The college is good with academics and provides opportunities to people who are looking for affordable college with good courses. The fee is affordable and provides good Return on Investment after graduation. The institute also has management college within the campus. Good companies like KPMG, Deloitte come on campus for recruitment and provides decent roles.

The eligibility for B.Com in Accounting and Finance or BAF is HSC Passed with 50% aggregate and the cut offs should be cleared as per merit list put out by the college. Generally the cut offs for the BAF course are above 90% in HSC examination. Students who are really interested in Accounting should enroll in the course.

The Faculty for the Commerce department is highly qualified for the practical subjects. The HODs are Ph.D holders and have knowledge in the subjects they teach. All faculty members have a good amount of teaching experience of around 5+ years. The teachers are from the backgrounds which are directly related to the courses they teach like Accountancy and Economics.

The placement cell brings various opportunities for students. The particular course BAF has large corporate like KPMG, Deloitte and Capgemini on campus for Tax analyst roles.

The college provides decent infrastructure with good classrooms and seating arrangement. The BAF course is undertaken in the Commerce building on the campus, the college also provides Library facility. It also provides books for free to students of lower income group under the Book Bank facility. The college also has conference hall for presentation for which prior permission is needed.

The overall campus life is 4/5 the only con being lack of outdoor sports facilities. The fests are nice and provide a variety of competitions every year along with annual festival, there are departmental fests organized after one another. There are many clubs like Music Club, Cultural Committee, South Indian Association (SIA) and other committees like National Service Scheme (NSS) and Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE).
