Well educated faculty members and great view.

Overall Rating
I mainly chose this institute as I wished for an Institute away from the hustle bustle of the city. I wanted a government Institute in the midst of mountains with greenery and scenic views. At the end, it is a great experience and coming to this Institute helped me develop my overall personality.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen bachelor of technology in electronics and communication. As I had an interest in this field and the basic requirement for admission here is 75% in boards and appropriate rank in CSAB/JOSAA counseling. This course is of 8 semesters i.e. four years. I'm currently in my 2nd year; I find it a bit hectic.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is excellent. The professors have done their PhD from IIT, NIT and IISc Bangalore and have also written books. Their style of teaching is great. In every Institute you understand and love few teachers while the topics taught by some aren’t clear. This institute has the same case to some extent.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are four buildings, cse, mechanical, civil, electrical and electronics block. There are open badminton courts, volleyball court and cricket ground. The institute also has a football ground. As the campus is based on the hills, transportation facilities are provided which makes the transportation easier. The classrooms, washrooms and Hostels are well maintained.
 

Campus Rating
There are two fests organised- one is Atulyam, the cultural fest of the Institute and the other is Addovedi, the technical fest. There are many clubs-like literature, music, dance, coding, painting, fame arts, etc. Campus crowd is mix of people from all over the country so, we get to interact with everyone from both south, northeastern and north India.
