OCT Bhopal is overall a good engineering college

Overall Rating
Oriental College of Technology approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to RGPV and Barkatullah University, Madhya Pradesh. The admission criteria is based on merit and entrance exam JEE Mains. Library, Wi-fi, labs, Classrooms, all the facilities are available in organized manner.
 

Academics Rating
I have opted B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering course and the eligibility for this course was based on entrance exam JEE Mains. As in today's world, technology is growing very rapidly and I am always interested to go ahead with this new technology and software.
 

Faculty Rating
For this course 9 faculties are available. Total facilities are 277. All the faculties have good teaching skills and are highly qualified, knowledgeable and helpful for their students. They supports their students always. Few have completed their PhD and few are willing to complete it. Few are freshers as well. Yes, they teach us subject in a very interesting way.
 

Placement Rating
The training and placement department of our college provides enough facilities to their students. The internship is also necessary after every semester. TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant and many other companies are recruiting students from our college. Minimum package is 2.5 lakhs where as Maximum package is 13 lakhs. 80% of our seniors have received campus placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel provides good facilities as well as their is a lot enjoyment during occasion in hostels. Yes, Girls and boys hostels are separate. The quality of hostel food is not good. Very limited items are available in mess food. Security is strict with students behavior, permission is necessity for going out of college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Total area of your college campus is 17 Acres. Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms, library, laboratories, workshops, auditorium all are available in a very disciplined and hygienic manner. Playground, stores are available for students as well as for emergency medical facilities are accessible.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is really good and enjoyable. Students get good opportunities to explore their talents and gain knowledge. Annual fest is also celebrated known as Techacme. The books are provided free of cost for semester subjects no need to purchase and pay a lot of money.

    It's a very well known College allover Madhya Pradesh. They got a very big ground and sports activities like basketball, football and many more.     My overall experience is good. I like the campus building. The faculty is supportive and motivates us. Seniors are good at guiding us. Our classroom is big. They have proper ventilation.     I choose this institution because I didn't scored good in JEE Mains entrance exam and my parents didn't allowed me to take drop so I had no option left other than a three tier college. So as far as I remember I scored around 75 percentile and as I am from general category I couldn't get any government college with top branches.
