This institute is a complete package for Physiotherapy because it is attached with a medical College and hospital. This gives maximum exposure of patients to us. As Physiotherapy is moreover a practical approach hence availability of such a good hospital is a best thing. Here we are exposed to patients since our second year and this make us comfortable and free in dealing with the patients. With the academics this institute has a very warming environment and we'll build infrastructure.

Physiotherapy course is a professional health care course with four years of academics and six months of internship. For the admission one must clear his or her 12th exams with more than 45 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Along with that they have to qualify in the NEET entrance examination. On the basis of the marks of NEET the merit list will be considered for the admissions. The motive of this course is to create Physiotherapists who can improve the quality of life of people.

Physiotherapy course is a combination of medical subjects with Physiotherapy subjects so the medical faculties teaches their subjects and rest are taught by the physiotherapy professors. There are around 5 professors for each medical subject like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Surgery, Medicine, etc. And for physiotherapy subjects there are 12 professors who are masters of their fields with more than 15 years of teaching experience. All of them teach in more practical way than the theory.

We are glad that this is the only institute in Maharashtra that provides job placements. Since last few years this college had started campus placements and which is worth. Many of the good physiotherapy and rehabilitation firms arrive here to interview us and offer better jobs. Last year around 10 of our students were placed in one rehab and CRC. Other students go for further studies than for the job directly after UG. Average salary after physiotherapy graduation is around 5 lakh per annum. We can work as a physiotherapist in a hospital or in an industry as a sports physiotherapist for a club or team, or as an academician of as a general practitioner.

Yes, this university has its own hostel facilities. There are different hostel buildings for boys, girls and post graduation students. There is 24 hour security guard at the hostel gate. Hostel is spacious and comfortable to live. It has 4 floors and 8 rooms per floor with 4 bathrooms and 4 toilets, and there is 24 hours hot water in each bathroom. Hostel provides beds, tables, chairs, and cupboards. There is 24 hours of electricity and water. Mess is also present in the hostel and it has average food quality means it is edible. Rooms and washrooms are cleaned daily.

Infrastructure of this institute is well organised. It has college building, hospital building, hostel buildings, and laundry and sports grounds. College building is a 2 floored building with adequate halls for each department including seminar halls, departmental library, practical hall and staffrooms. Also there are different sections for opd and different section for wards. It also has casualty and ICU section. Physiotherapy has its separate opd with 12 beds and electrical modalities. Physiotherapy has its own musculoskeletal physiotherapy opd, Neuro Physiotherapy opd, Cardiovascular and Respiratory Physiotherapy opd, Community Physiotherapy opd and Pediatric Physiotherapy opd. Hostel has 4 floored build with rooms and bathrooms. There is a cricket turf, full sized athletic ground, and volleyball and basketball court in the campus. And all the buildings are connected by single road and plenty of trees.

Campus life here is one of the best memories you will be creating. Here there are limited admissions hence there is not crowded making it very pleasing and homely environment. There is annual cultural fest including sports, gatherings, convocations, farewell party and freshers. And different festivals are celebrated with involvement of all the students. Other than that educational clubs are there which keeps us involved in recreational activities.
