My Journey in St. Edmund's College, Shillong

Overall Rating
St. Edmunds College is an institution where you will not only develop academically but also personally. This college will give you so many opportunities to showcase your passion. Mostly importantly, you will enjoy your life in the campus as its very lively and happening campus. The campus itself is delightful.
 

Academics Rating
I had to go through an entrance exam. If you have scored above 95% in your HSC, you can get direct admission. But if you are someone who had scored below than you have to undergo an entrance exam. But if you are someone not from Meghalaya and have scored below 95% or so then you have to hurry up with your admission process because hundreds of students come for admission and you will always be given preference if you are a local.
 

Faculty Rating
All the teachers are very professional. They guide you thoroughly not only academically but if you need any help in your personal life. Most importantly, you will not find the generational gap with the professors. They will always motivate you. You will always be given a lot of chances to showcase your talent.
 

Placement Rating
Since it's a college affiliated under NEHU, you don't get any placement.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are total 3 buildings for various departments. I personally haven't seen the entire building as its too big. There is one very big library, where you can study or do projects. One big field, two canteens, etc.
 

Campus Rating
College weeks are one of the most awaited due to festivals for all the students. You get to dress up well, perform, enjoy etc. In fact in the last day of college week, you have prom night where you get to ask your date. Apart from that, each department hosts a special event like drama or food stall etc.
