I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University: My Views

Overall Rating
It is a good university overall. The fees here are quite affordable for me and my family. It also has less number of students so the interaction between students and teachers is also nice. They don't charge you extra for anything.
 

Academics Rating
The course is quite affordable as I said and its difficulty level is average. You can enter this college on your marks of 12th board or JEE marks. They provide scholarships on JEE marks and to continue that you need to score 8+CGPA every semester. My motive to enroll was to get a good job.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are quite friendly and helpful. They provide an edge over other colleges with their good experience and friendly nature. In terms of studies and life lessons as well they are highly qualified especially our HOD. Overall it's a very Good experience while studying here under their guidance. They would often help you with projects.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are average. The highest package is 17 LPA on campus and off campus is around 7 to 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are average here. The only good thing about hostel is its fees which is very affordable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College is in a good condition. Classrooms are fully air conditioned. Labs are equipped with AC and it also has PCs with high end performance. Amenities available are a cafeteria, labs and well maintained classrooms and also a library.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is normal it depends on an individual how they want it to be. There are fewer students so life is less chaotic and you get to know everyone in the campus. Even I know all of my seniors and juniors.

    This University is very affordable and a state government University. This was my main reason to select this University. Moreover, faculty members are very helpful and interactive with all the students. Clubs are also active in this University making your extracurricular experience really good. Library is also good....
