Islamia College of Science and Commerce: A Review

Overall Rating
I consider my time at Islamia College of Science and Commerce to be a very significant experience, mainly because it formed the foundation from which a good career was built. The college provided academic and personal growth in a nurturing environment, thus upholding academic excellence. Despite the weaknesses that exist here, I would find it my duty to suggest this college to aspiring students seeking quality education.
 

Academics Rating
At Islamia College, the curriculum was so tight and demanding that it basically prepared me for higher education and the professional world. All professors were full of knowledge, knew their stuff, and made lecturing inspiring. I mean, besides having great teachers, a good college also has extracurricular activities that go with your academic endeavors.
 

Faculty Rating
The staff of Islamia College is undoubtedly the best asset to my education. They were accessible, supportive, and committed to students' success. Professors remained ready to answer the questions of students, give guidance if needed, and offered as much extra help as a student might require. Such mentoring and encouragement were notably responsible for my academic successes.
 

Placement Rating
The placement record of the college has vast areas of improvement; however, I was able to get an excellent placement in an honest firm after my graduation. Career guidance and placement cell services have been quite helpful in seeking job opportunities, interview preparations, and networking activities also. At the same time, I feel that the college needs to be stronger in partnership with industries and must engage more with alumni for the strength of its placement.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities in Islamia College were quite good, comfortable, and safe. The hostel staff was very friendly and helpful to make the living experience one to be cherished. It is still a bit dilapidated and needs some renovation, but it did its job pretty well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The general infrastructure at Islamia College was reasonable, and it had almost pretty good buildings and relatively well-kept facilities. However, investments can be made in sufficient modernization of infrastructure and equipment to bring such institutions up to the mark of the latest technological and educational advancements.Institution is well equipped with instruments .
 

Campus Rating
Campus of Islamia College was beautiful and clean. It contained all kinds of necessary spaces like classrooms, laboratories, a library, and sports grounds. The campus environment was otherwise pleasant and conducive to study. Campus have clubs for students where they can learn more about life. Our campus also celebrate several fests every year.
