B.Y.K. Sinnar College of Commerce BBA Review By Vaibhav Magar

I completed my BBA at this college, and I am mostly satisfied with it, except for the placements. Admissions are a bit lengthy, as there are various merit lists and management selections. Students at the college were offered seminars on Banking, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Communication, etc. at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These seminars introduce students to the most recent developments in the relevant fields. Associated with Savitribai Phule University, Pune, the college has been ranked as the first Commerce College in Maharashtra. A grade of A has also been awarded to this university by the NAAC. In my opinion, my college is great based on its infrastructure, its large campus, and its friendly faculty. College was good overall, but they needed to raise their placement rate since it was very low earlier.

College is nice; however, if you want to succeed you must be attentive. 70-80% is the minimum marks required for admission to BBA. I studied BBA with a specialisation in Finance. The lectures were quite informative here, and they're kept up-to-date as well. The college offers a wide range of courses with well-educated teachers. The professors are very competent and helpful in their respective fields. The teaching style and teachers were constantly being upgraded with new equipment. Our teaching staff was very kind and helpful to students in every way that they could so that we were always updated and well-informed.

There is a good teaching program and students are friendly. Our principal was strict, but that was the only thing that helped us improve. Students receive good support from faculty, and schedules are flexible. Teachers are cooperative and offer a wide variety of subjects for students to choose from. Studying under the guidance of faculty was the easiest. The thing we could as every experiment that we did were completely backed by our Faculty. Faculty were clear from the start that the placements can be dicey and hence, we should try for competitive exams as without an MBA degree getting A job is very difficult.

In this college, which is not a higher education institution, campus placements are similar to internships that happen when there are events organized inside the college. Approximately 3 per cent of students have been placed, but most college placements don't occur here. However, degrees from this college are respected due to its history as a 100-year-old institution. Even though the placements aren't the best, The College prepares you well for the interview process of different companies. It is possible to get a well-paying salary job at the College. It seems that there are only limited types of placements available, but I don't know what the salary package looks like.

Hostel facility is not available in the college. However, there are certain private PGs nearby that charge a monthly rent. Even though I used to live apart from my family, I did not reside in a hostel. I would live in a flat with a few friends rather than at the hostel, which is a much better option. It will not be difficult to find accommodation since the college is located in an easily accessible area. Other than the hostel, the canteen or food facilities offered there was average at best.

Students at BYK College have access to every facility, whether it's a practical room, a sports centre, or a student welfare centre. In the college, there is a clean and hygienic canteen for students, and there is discipline. The college has a traditional style since it is over 100 years old. Sports facilities are provided to the students who are interested in sports, and a large Gymkhana for students to keep fit. The college has a canteen, and the food is hygienic. We had awesome facilities such as a library, sports centre, and auditorium. This campus is extremely environmentally friendly. It had a very good classroom management system, and the library has a well-maintained area where you can read books and concentrate.

There is a large College campus and every student spends time on campus. In addition, the college has good security services and it is under CCTV surveillance throughout the entire campus. There is no doubt that college staff and teachers are very helpful and kind whenever you need assistance. It was an excellent campus with a neat, clean garden. Many cafes and stationery are near the college, so students have access to good food and academic essentials. There are great extracurricular activities available to students. Many programs are offered, such as EUREKA and entrepreneurship sales, and an annual gathering is held each year. The Parivartan club and other social activities are also organized by social groups. Many sports are available, such as cricket, kabaddi, chess, badminton, etc.
