An Overview of AVCE

Overall Rating
AVCE is one of the most affordable college of Engineering that has minimum fee and teaches students as per the norm. It is also near Perungalatur Railway Station, making it convenient to reach the college. This is one of the contributing reasons of joining this college. The college offers various mainstream courses like CSE, EEE, ECE, and new arrived AI-DS, helping students to choose course of their interest.
 

Academics Rating
The main gateway to join this college is via TNEA counseling and management quota. The cutoff for admitting this college on any course varies from 80-150. So even below average students can easily get admission into this college. Students who are interested in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence field can get admission with 100- 150 cutoff.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties and professors have their journey in the college. The professors are finely qualified and updated to the latest information. However, there is immense need to increase the number or faculty in each department of Engineering to increase the quality of education.
 

Placement Rating
The college doesn't have on-campus placement offers as students compiles more arrears and college signed only few MoUs with the companies
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is small compared to other engineering institutions. College has two floored one block for engineering and spacious background for sports. The classroom are perfectly ventilated but it has poor network connectivity. The classroom needs to be heavily renovated and laboratories needs to be developed with latest technologies and accessories. Most of the classroom are empty due to improper planning and triangular structure of the building
 

Campus Rating
The college is not over populated as the they intake students of 30-60 in number on each department. The college is Student friendly and supports students on extra curricular activities and events. Students can come in casual wear but told to wear shoes but most of the students don't follow it. There's only few clubs like NSS, Sports, etc ... There's no proper planned and organised fests and event conducted by students
