All about IGU, Rewari

Overall Rating
In current trend, courses and jobs in Computer Science is highly demanded. I am also a Computer Science enthusiast and a good learning environment of skillful students, and many Tech and Hackathon competitions are required so that students have a better knowledge of real-life programming. Talking about my university, course study is great but there is no hackathon. The students can learn online and participate in solving LeetCode problems. If anybody wants to opt for Computer Science, try to get a Tier-1, 2 universities.
 

Academics Rating
The score card of JEE is mandatory for taking admission in B.Tech. The students who passed 12th recently or took a drop year can take admission. For drop year students, a Drop Year Certificate is mandatory. If you are interested in building websites, apps, gaming or hacking etc., you must choose Computer Science. In this university, academic knowledge is prioritized more than technical knowledge, which could be improved.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties teaching our course are either pursuing Doctorate or completed their Doctorate. They have in-depth knowledge about their course, but some doesn’t. Their teaching style is similar but not so interesting. Students are mostly serious for their attendance.
 

Placement Rating
There is no Placement Cell. This year a company named XSpider had visited our university. Their basic criterion was that the students who didn't repeated their course. Because of it, students have to apply for off-campus placement by themselves. The average package is around 5 LPA. Students have to work hard so that a better off-campus placement is achieved.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, a hostel is also here for the students who are far from their homes. The facilities and infrastructure are somehow good. There is a separate hostel for both girls and boys and have different office faculty for both hostels. Hostels are well -maintained and have better Wi-Fi access with a good quality of food. Talking about the activities and celebrations in the hostel like Open DJ, fresher, and farewell party and many other festive parties are conducted with prizes.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are four buildings which have different department on different floors. This university is under construction for making new building and is then going to introduce new courses. This university is located in a rural area and has lots of trees and an underdeveloped area around this university. It has a separate building for library housing lots of books and is well maintained and air conditioned to study in a silence environment.
 

Campus Rating
Earlier in 2024, there were no clubs and only NCC was there. But now, clubs like coding, dance, drama, fashion, sports and many other are being introduced. Many programs are organised every month either of university level like orientation for new students or convocation for the students who already have passed from here. A Youth Fest is also organised around Diwali in which inter-university competitions are held for three days and students have a wonderful experience participating in it.

    The environment of the university is so fresh and peaceful. In Indira Gandhi University there is a big campus. Plantation is done on the both side of roads in the campus. All the facility is provided by member of department to the student so there is no difficulty in anything. Hostel facility, Wi-Fi facility, etc. all facilities are available in the university.
