Shri Vaishnav Institute of Law is one of the institutions run by Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth trust. This and the parental trust Shri Vaishnav Shaikshanik And Parmarthik Nyas are widely known for their contribution towards educational and social activities. SVIL was established in 2005 as a private institute with the approval of BCI and is affiliated to DAVV, Indore. They offer courses like BA LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB, and B.Com LLB for UG Programme and LLM (1 year) in Business Law, Human Rights and Criminal Law.

BA LLB (Hons.) is a 5 year integrated course in which we study both the Law and Arts subjects. To get admission in this institute, one should have qualified 10+2 with 45% minimum and 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST/OBC. The institute provides scholarships for SC/ST/OBC for whole 5 year as well as for General category but for a year. The age of the student should be 20 years and relaxation of 2 years for SC/ST/OBC. If someone is looking for a reasonable amount of fee, they can opt for this institute. There are many students who want to give competitive exams and are not much interested in institute life; this institute is a good option as there is no pressure from the institute to attend the classes except for the first year.

Some faculties are very good and some are average. Faculties use both Hindi and English language for teaching. This institute comes under Vaishnav University, there are proper faculties which are experienced also ones. The faculties are very chill and frank.

Since SVIL is now affiliated to Vaishnav University, it has made new campus with a nice building and huge classes and good amenities. It offers sports, moot court competitions, a big library, and court for volleyball & badminton. They provide a huge campus and cultural events as well. Canteen is also available where the students can chill. The institute also has bus facilities for easy transportation. There is an auditorium for small events and functions.

As per the recent improvements, we now have an exclusive campus with all the basic amenities. However, further advancements can be made by organizing the functions and fests from time to time. Otherwise, the campus life here is satisfactory.
