Overall, the college is good. The college is providing us a comprehensive and rigorous medical education that renders the student with sufficient medical knowledge, skills, and values necessary for a better career options. For most of us being a doctor is a dream and living this dream in reality is just unexplainable. The faculty over here is committed for imparting knowledge and encourages the intellectual growth and new us. The best part of this job is to cure and relive the patients of their problems and diseases. So it is my suggestion to join this college to experience the reality and honorable job of a doctor. To get admission in this college, we have to clear an exam named NEET UG. There is a separate cutoff for each category such as for general category it is usually 600 marks.

For admission in this college, you should prepare really hard for the exam named as National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). For general category, it is almost 600 marks and for SC or ST category, it is less and is around 400 to 450 marks. These marks are out of 720 marks. After clearing it you have to undergo counseling held by National Medical Council. You have to submit various documents such as your 10 and 12 passing certificate, your domicile, etc. The yearly fee is around 1.5 lakh and for total of MBBS it costs around 7.5 lakh. The course is of around 5 years with 4 years of academics and one year of essential internship

The faculty is very much calm and cooperative. They are very responsive towards the students and are answerable to all the doubts of the students. Some of the teachers are very helpful and try their best to help us in motivating the students throughout the year. Some departments such as physiology, pharmacology, SPM and others are very sweet in their way of teaching. Teachers usually teach with presentations.

The college does not provide any placements options as much. It depends on the student after graduation whether they want to undergo post graduation or they want to join any government or private college as a teacher or Doctor. Talking about the post graduation. The student can go for either MD or MS and they can also do the PG diploma. If the student wants, can work over their individual career such as opening a small clinic or hospital.

Yes, the college provides its own hostel facilities. It costs around 50k per year without mess. You can also join mess or eat the food from outside. Mess quality is not up to the mark. The hygiene is not very good. You can keep fridge or air conditioner with extra charges. Some of the facilities of the college can be improved. If you do not want to live in the hostel then you can also rent a PG or flat. For hostel you have to deposit fee on cash counter.

The building is newly built. There are many facilities available in the college such as library, canteen, good washrooms, and sports room and basketball court. The library is quite large and it has lot of books and journals to read related to academic and non-academic. Canteen is also available in the college which has large amount of options in the menu. There are separate departments for each subject and are on different floors. There is hospital with college. There is also indoor sports room available which has games like chess, ludo, carom, etc.

The college life is good. Our college usually conducts function on some special days such as Doctor’s Day Celebration. Recently, our college had organized a fest named as ‘Endorphin’ starring Jordan Sandhu, Elina Chauhan, and Parwinder Singh. The path is also sometimes organized by the contribution of the students. Fresher’s party is given by the seniors to their newly arrived juniors.
