It’s been almost five years now in this university, and time has passed really fast. The overall experience in terms of campus life has been really amazing and full of bitter-sweet memories. The university was established in the year 2015. I took admission in the year 2020, in third batch of School of Law. I have seen the University grow at its best and doing exceptionally good and getting recognized.

Established in 2018, Birla School of Law under the Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar offers a 5-year integrated BBA LLB (Hons.) program with specializations in Business and Criminal Law. This program is designed to produce legal professionals who are well-prepared for the demands of both corporate world and courtroom. The curriculum emphasizes over interdisciplinary study, combining Business and Law to provide a comprehensive education. Students benefit from experiential learning through moot courts, clinical papers, internships, and case studies, which bridge the gap between theory and practice. Birla School of Law's BBA LLB (Hons.) program is a strong foundation for those aspiring to navigate the complexities, with a focus in developing quality law graduates ready to succeed in diverse career paths. The entire course is divided into 10 semesters with 6 subjects in each semester.

Our School of Law at BGU includes faculties who are highly qualified, humble and very approachable. We have professors who have studied at various prestigious law schools in India. They bring lots of experience and ensure a high standard of teaching which helps us in our law school journey and beyond that. They also help us in getting good internships. Interactive teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and real-world case analysis.

Yes, our university has a placement cell. For School of law, we have a Recruitment Coordination Committee. This is a student body officially designated with the responsibility of facilitating the procedure of recruitment for the graduating batches. The purpose of establishing the RCC is to create a framework within which the representatives of various organizations in the legal industry can interact with the students of the batch for the purpose of recruitment. The RCC assists the placement manager and the faculty advisors with the placement work. The placement in MBA is also good. Most of the students get their return on investment. The placement has not been really good but we are hoping the outgoing batch of 2025 in law gets decently placed.

Yes, Birla Global University is a residential campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. We have rooms with double and triple occupancy. We have lift in the hostel along with air conditioner, attached washrooms, common washing machines and micro-oven and Wi-Fi facilities.

The campus is built on 30 acres of land. It has separate buildings for the various courses. It has fully air-conditioned modern smart classes, beautiful moot court room, and two libraries: one central library and one law library. Other facilities include a gym, cafeteria, tuck shop, rock-garden, and healthcare, various grounds for football, cricket, volleyball, basket ball court and badminton court.

The campus life here in BGU is quite happening. We celebrate various festivals in the campus including but not limited to Holi, Janmashtmi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam, Navratri night, etc. Every year we have Sports fest named ATOS and cultural fest with celebrity nights named Spectra in the month of February or March. We also have inter-house sports and cultural competitions named Intramural, where 4 (Aryans, Titans, Olympians and Spartans) houses compete amongst each other. Other than this, every school in BGU conduct their own competitions related to their field. In Birla School of Law, we have various activities and competitions such as Mock Parliament, Crime Scene Competition, Mock Mediation Competition (both University and State-level), Moot Court Competitions, Debate Competitions, etc. Various clubs and committees of Law School includes Pro-bono club, Moot Court Society, ADR committee, Electoral Literacy Club, Legal Aid Society, etc. The overall campus life is quite decent, and the campus is full of greenery.
