Overall Rating
I chose the college and course because of my interest in it. I have always been fascinated by Film and Animation, the way drawings are brought to life along with the characters in it. The syllabus is pretty simple and the fee is affordable than other colleges with similar courses.
 

Academics Rating
In this course, you get to learn about Animation and Visual Effects. There is a simple aptitude entrance test conducted that examines our skill of creativity, general knowledge and our artistic talent. The interview sessions are easy and friendly. You can also take your portfolio or anything basic that showcases your skill for the interview.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the teachers are quite qualified and knowledgeable but I must say some of them can improve in terms of teaching. We also have faculty members who have graduated from Pune Film College. Most of them are quite accomplished in Film and Animation industry. They also solve any doubt that we have during the lectures.
 

Placement Rating
After the 4th semester, we would be eligible for campus placements. We also have internships at the end of the 5th semester. It does have companies visiting for placements and yes, if you have a good portfolio then you can get placement.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is pretty good. We have Wi-Fi, animation labs, seminar halls, green screen rooms, etc. The equipment quality is average though. Library also has a pretty good collection of books we can use for reference. We also have stop motion and audio labs for voice recordings. There are different blocks for every course.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is pretty good. If you are an extrovert, you can easily make a lot of friends. The annual fest is called ‘Melange’ which is one of the biggest fests under the university. You can further enrich your social life by joining clubs and other companies that host events. Sports day is also held on the regular basis.
