Overall my experience at Somaiya Vidyavihar University has been truly exceptional. I chose this university due to the very good academic reputation and industry contacts that it carries and so far, it has really lived up to my expectation and more. The BBA program is a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical experience through internship and project work. The faculties are highly knowledgeable, supportive and always willing to help students perform to their potential in their chosen fields.

Somaiya Vidyavihar University design the BBA curriculum in such a way that it can present a medium - balance of theoretical and practical knowledge to the students. They undergo a strong base, which includes core areas in the business domain including marketing, finance, HR, etc. Thus, industry trends are incorporated in the coursework, thereby making the student well-prepared for real-world challenges.

The faculty at this university is seasoned and brings industry experience into the class. Their teaching approach usually follows case studies, group’s discussions and live projects which nurture critical thinking and problem solving skills. This university is very serious about internship and live projects. Here, students get practical exposure also.

The top companies continuously conducts placement drives in the campus and students from the BBA program have successfully grabbed positions in finance, marketing, consulting and management domains. The hostels at Somaiya Vidyavihar University provide a pretty good living experience with good infrastructures. Rooms are available on a shared basis of 2-4 students per room along with a few amenities such as tables, cupboards, and more accompanied with Wi-Fi connectivity.

This college boasts the best infrastructure and equipment in form of modern facilities spread over a large campus in Mumbai. There are 4-5 colleges inside the same campus. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and air conditioners so that learning can take place in comfortable and conducive environment. Well maintained library with a plethora of academic and research material ensure that students have recourse to rich resource materials. This university is Wi-Fi enabled and students are constantly provided with a constant source of internet connection for both academic and personal use in the campus.

The college life is very vibrant and diversified, giving a holistic experience to students much more than that from textbooks. Cultural, technical as well as sports events features throughout the year, so the campus is always buzzing. Students take part in clubs and societies of arts, literature or technology. Hence engendering individual development together with networking.
