My views on J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology

Overall Rating
My overall experience of this institution is so nice. It is not so far from my home. Its only takes 20 to 25 minutes to reach there and the reason why I choose this institution because it is semi government institution and the degree they provide has more value than any other private institutions. This institution is Accredited A+ grade by NAAC.
 

Academics Rating
So the course that I have chosen is B.Voc (Banking, Finance Services and Insurance). This course help in getting knowledge about banking, finance insurance and latter getting a job in these fields. One is eligible to take this course only when he / she get 50% marks in 12th standard. This course is more focused on skill development rather than only focusing on theory knowledge which is actually good.
 

Faculty Rating
All the teachers have more than 10 year of teaching experience and they teach in English and Hindi both languages. They use whiteboard and projectors to teach us clearly.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the institution has its own placement cell. Almost 70 to 80% students get placed here. The last year highest package was 54 lakh per annum and average was 5.5 lakh per annum. Companies like TCS, Samsung, Adobe, Amazon, and Tata Ion are the main recruiters.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the institution has residential facilities. There is separate building for girls and boys. There are different facilities like there is fully air conditioned mess for hostel students at very reasonable price. The infrastructure is very good. I don't know about any specific activities organised for the hostel students. But they all are equally the part of institution fest and any small activities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is separate building for all departments in the institution and has specific name for the buildings like C.V Raman, Vishwakarma Bhawan and so on. All buildings have lift facilities and have water cooler outside every building. There is a fully air conditioned library also. One of the best thing I noticed that there is greenery everywhere.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is so good that students can come and go whenever they want. There is no restriction of time. Crowd in campus is overall good it is not very crowded and not less. There are different clubs for students having different interest like dancing, singing, gaming, and sports. During festival season they organise different engagement activities. Recently they held dandiya night competition and now they are planning to organise Diwali fest at 23 October 2024. And almost once in a week they do some activities in campus auditorium.

    The university and placements are good as compare to other state universities. There are active clubs and societies where you can interact and network with others.
