My First Impression of SFIT

Overall Rating
I visited St. Francis Institute of Technology during my JEE exam and staff was so homely inclined me towards SFIT. Later I found out that number of extracurricular this institute holds including events (technical and non-technical) like IRIS and MOSAIC as well as sports fests IGNITRA. I personally love coming to institute every morning and I have loved two years I have spent here.
 

Academics Rating
We are batch that shifted from non-autonomous to autonomous. There have been a lot of changes in academics. I am from Computer Engineering branch and it has taught me and interested me quite well, along with practicals and honors.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very understanding. The HOD of Computer Engineering department always tries to comprehend each and every student. The faculty tries their level best to make us learn.
 

Placement Rating
The previous year (2023), placements were not as good as we expected but the batch graduating in 2025 have already started their placement rounds and there are some students who have gotten packages above 15 LPA. So I think there is improvement taking place..
 

Hostel Rating
I personally live near the institute but lot of my friends live in hostels and hostels are very average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The architecture of our institute is quite astonishing. In two years of my course, I have still not completely learned about entire institute. The institute is very clean and hygienic as well. There is a library, medical room, common rooms, and clean washrooms. There is all type of sports available to play all the time, with a basketball court and volleyball court.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is exciting and clean. The student crowd at SFIT is very comfortable and homely. I never felt unsafe or any sort of discomfort anywhere on campus. The fests have been nice and exciting with a lot of fun on campus. The institute teaches us how to manage studies and events at the same time giving us a lot of exposure and learning opportunities.
