DY Patil College of Law: Is it worth the hype?

Overall Rating
DY Patil University is located in the heart of Navi Mumbai. It has 2 campuses for Law course. First, being deemed private comes under DY Patil University, so its campus is very eye catching and beautiful. While there 2nd campus is unaided comes under Maharashtra University. Both the campuses are well maintained and I like the outside environment. I've chosen the one which is affiliated by Maharashtra University. It has pretty good infrastructure and decent library facilities.
 

Academics Rating
B.A LLB is a 5 year long course. To take admission in this college, one has to give the MH-Law-CET exam and qualify. the required cut off marks. Cut off goes around 80-90, if you're from same state while 100+ for OMS (Outside Maharashtra Student). The academic fee is 1.5lac for 5 years so it's a pretty good choice if you want good exposure and environment under an affordable price.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members for the subjects of B.A are pretty average. However from 3rd year onwards, it gets better and you'll be provided with good quality lecturers.
 

Placement Rating
The campus does not have a placement cell.
 

Hostel Rating
They do have a hostel under the college. If you can afford, you can take its hostel facilities. Hostel infrastructure is world class and is equipped with every facility to live a good life.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College has changed the whole infrastructure this year so you'll be lucky in terms of infrastructure if you're taking admission from 2024 onwards.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is not up to the mark here. I hope college brings lot of improvements.

    Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Law is one of the top & best colleges I have ever seen. While preparing for law CET I have decided that I will take admission in this college, reason behind this was that it is a reputed college and is approved by the Bar Council of India. The college rating is very much important because for further placement and job it's very much useful. I will suggest each and every student to take admission in Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Law....
