Great Experience at National Dental College & Hospital, Mohali

Overall Rating
I chose to study BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences due to one major reason which was the exceptional homely environment and the excellent teaching staff available for the students. The environment may seem a bit weird in the starting but comes out to be great and you do see yourself as a positively changed personality at the end of your academic journey.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility criteria of the course are that you must have a domicile of the state. You need to have the cut off marks mentioned in NEET exam to get an admission here. You have to take Science stream in class 11th and 12th and score more than 50% in your exams to be eligible for the further examination of NEET.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very nice and professionally knowledgeable. The teachers are down to earth, and you will get to learn something or the other from each faculty of each specialisation. Proper laboratories and staff are there to teach all the students about different subjects along with their expertise from years of working.
 

Placement Rating
The administration does provide opportunities to the newly graduated students to work as a tutor at various colleges and gain more experience here.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, they do provide hostel facilities along with spacious rooms, fans, study table, and food. The hostel is supervised by a warden to ensure safe living of the male and female hostellers.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has greenery all around along with regular cleaning staff and nurses to help the students for anything they require. The administration is one of the USP of the college as they help you with literally anything and everything. The safety and responsibility of students is maintained in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
It organises sports meet and various fests such as cultural festivals and occasional celebration for students on festivals to give them a homely feeling. Every year a number of competitions are organised. Health related specific important days are celebrated to raise awareness among children and increase the enthusiasm.
