Overall Rating
The College is situated in the Amaravati district of Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. The connectivity to this college is also very easy. The campus area of the college is very big compared to many other colleges. The cutoff for admission in this college is usually on the higher side and the placements are good compared to the other government colleges of Maharashtra (relative). The crowd in this college is good.
 

Academics Rating
The Government College of Engineering Amaravati offers wide range of specialisations such as Computer Science, Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Civil, etc. You will have to clear MHT CET to get admission into this college and also the cutoff is high approximately 90 and above for every branch. In HSC you need to have 55% marks or above, and if you belong to other state then the cutoff may be higher.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of the college are good. The permanent and non permanent faculties both have good teaching style somewhat conventional but the permanent faculty posses very strong subject knowledge and are really knowledgeable. The classes are equipped with graph boards and projectors and the college also has smart boards for providing better learning experience to the students, for presentations, and many more.
 

Placement Rating
The placements in the college are good as compared to other nearby Government Colleges. But the placements here are not 100%.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are good. One can stay in these hostels without any problem. The hostels are on the sharing basis and present within the campus. Hostel washrooms are common and are cleaned every week.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of Government College of Engineering Amaravati is really big. It has separate buildings for each branch of Engineering. The library is well equipped with the books and all the reference books can be easily issued from the library. College campus also has a playground with adequate sports facilities.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at Government College of Engineering Amaravati is good. The crowd is also friendly. The college hosts Fests every year. The Cultural fest here is called Zenith and the Technical fest is called Prajwalan which is conducted once every year. Both the fests are conducted at state-level where students from other colleges and clubs participate actively and compete to win prizes. Apart from that, there are many clubs for example, music club, art club, drama club, etc. which keeps students engaged and give them a platform to showcase their talent.
