Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) is one of the best engineering colleges in Haryana. It is approved by AICTE and it is popular as the number 1 engineering college for many years in a row. PIET is also known as a top MBA college in Haryana. Students always worry about future opportunities and placements in PIET. You don’t have to worry about that at all. My entire batch got good placements in top companies. No matter the type of engineering or business course you are looking for, you will find it here. When I entered my college life, I wanted to make friends and I wanted to enjoy myself. I am so happy that I found it all in PIET- amazing faculty, great students and satisfying campus life.

PIET has all the popular engineering, technology and management courses. As we all know, when you study these subjects, rote learning is not a good idea. You need to think analytically and innovatively and PIET trains the students in that way. By the time you graduate, you will be ready with all the needed skills and talent to face the jobs and offices with confidence. PIET graduates often get placements in top MNC companies and promising start-ups because the college is committed to producing new era leaders with an uncompromising mindset. So, for academic ratings, it will get 5 out of 5 from me.

From the very first day, you will like and respect the faculty. All the teachers of PIET are helpful to everyone and very open-minded. They provide careful attention to every student’s need and offer extra efforts for students whenever needed. The PIET faculty is very kind and a beautiful soul for this talented and qualified educational institution and they prioritize creative teaching methods to develop the students’ skills. The college management knows that to create top minds you need top faculty members.

To provide great placements for the students, a college needs a good placement and PIET has it. TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, IBM, Accenture, CSC, Syntel, Wipro and all the other top international and national companies are invited to PIET every year for campus placement. It has a large auditorium and plenty of conference rooms for the procedure of placements. The placement rate is 100% for every branch of engineering, technology and management. We also went through special training that helped us to get our placements.

When I went to college, I was kind of worried about living in a hostel. It was my first time away from home. But it turned out that I had nothing to be anxious about. The boarding facility was very modern with good security and comfortable rooms. High-speed Wi-Fi helped immensely when we studied at night and finished our projects. The boys’ hostel had a capacity of 200-250 and the girls’ hostel had about 50-100. There were some indoor game facilities in the hostels that we enjoyed thoroughly.

The greatest thing about PIET infrastructure is that it looks so modern. Large glass windows and futuristic architecture add a great vibe to the campus. The library is large, has a speedy broadband system and all the books that students need. There’s a separate place for the researchers and faculty members in the library. A collection of thousands of books and almost 300 seats truly sets it apart from other college libraries. Students also get access to e-journals and databases for their studies. The main campus building is spacious and clean. That’s where we spent most of our time. The canteen offered delicious food that we all liked. Overall, I will happily give it a full mark for the infrastructure.

I liked our daily campus life in PIET. The college encourages students to study hard, but it also gives importance to the fact that students need to have fun too. We made friends with students studying other subjects and exchanged ideas. Young students need to communicate with others to get ready for professional life and we had the opportunity for that. The communication skill that I developed during my college years helped me a lot after I started my job. Again, full marks from me.
