Comprehensive review of NIT, Warangal

Overall Rating
Why NIT Warangal? Because it is a prestigious institute, which many people dream of joining. It's unique due to its location, greenery and its beauty due being situated around the hills of Hanam Konda, outskirts of Warangal. It has a good environment and if you get a chance to visit the institute then please do visit once.
 

Academics Rating
Engineering in all branches is available at National Institute of Technology except Production Engineering which may be added in the next couple of years. To get admission, you need to clear JEE Main with a good percentile and the counselling will be done by JOSAA, DASA, CSAB or some other equivalent. I have opted for Civil Engineering out of my interest, and you can also select any branch in which most of the resources will be available for studying.
 

Faculty Rating
Till now, the faculties I have met were not what I expected them to be but no doubt they were all professionals, highly qualified and intelligent. It doesn’t mean that you have to show complete dependency on them, rather try to put your own efforts in finding study materials.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell here which has been playing a major role in providing internships and placements to 3rd year and 4th students.
 

Hostel Rating
Good residential facilities are provided by NIT, Warangal and you will definitely enjoy your hostel life with your friends. There are facilities like a gym, TT room and a lift which might not work sometimes. Everything else is up to the mark.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are many academic blocks including a new academic building, electrical building, mechanical building and other academic blocks for all the branches. A point of attraction here is the unique design of the buildings. There is also a store which has the necessary things required by the student in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
I had an outstanding campus life experience. You can roam around campus at any time and there are various clubs to keep you occupied such as dance club, dramatics club, music club, business club and many others. There are more than 30 clubs, and an annual tech fest called Technozion in November, and another annual fest called Spring Spree is organised in March or April.

    So my institute name is NIT Warangal, it is in Telangana. I got here through JOSAA. I chose this particular institute because of its placement percentage and learning environment. Here every second you will be surrounded with the brilliant brains of India, this also provides platform for various clubs like robotics club, etc. It has big library which is open all the time....     NIT Waranagal does not need any introduction. It is one of the most prestigious institutes in India. However, my particular reason for joining this institute over other institutes is its placements and internships. Awesome placements.     My experience in this institute is very good. I found a good environment here. The main reason I chose this institute is the NIRF Ranking of this institute. Many relatives of mine recommended me this institute. I spoke to the seniors before joining NIT Warangal and they gave me a positive review. I found this institute to be one of the best institutes.     My overall experience in NIT Warangal is good. I would rate my experience 3 out of 5 here. The main reason why I chose this institute is the placement stats and reputation of the institute. The faculty in this institute is highly educated. The difference I observed, which I don't find in other institutes is the strict academic rules with attendance criteria of minimum 80%.
