Overall Rating
It is a decent institute with good infrastructure and better educational services. Personally, I joined this institute as it had better placement records than other private institutes nearby. The admission criteria is simple, just have 60% aggregate with PCM in 12th boards. You have to visit Chitkara School Chandigarh for admission process.

Academics Rating
Talking about CS, in first year you have core-Engineering subjects such as Calculus, Digital Electronics, Modern Physics, and basics of Programming using python. In second year, the focus shifts towards core CS subjects as CN, DBMS, LINUX and OOPS, DSA and Frontend. In third year, you have specializations such as Full Stack Web and iOS.

Faculty Rating
Most of faculties are highly qualified and skilled as well. They are mostly doctorates with PhDs in their specific domains. In addition, it hires special faculties from coding related organizations for a better experience and more exposure to the tech side of CS. Faculties from companies like Coding Blocks, Cantilever teach in the institute.

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of Chitkara Institute of Engineering and Technology has many blocks but I will talk about CS. You have 2 blocks for CS department. The main block is Turing Block with 5 floors and around 7-8 lecture halls per floor. The classes are nice and spacious with proper air conditioning. The second block is Newton block where you have your lab sessions. There is a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court, pool table, table tennis, and even Foosball.

Campus Rating
Campus life is decent. If someone enjoys fests and parties, they will be satisfied with the fest culture in Chitkara Institute of Engineering and Technology. You will have to wear uniform to the institute daily (except for Saturdays). Sports activities and tournaments are frequently organized.
