Overall Rating
Kalyani Government Engineering College is one of the best government colleges in West Bengal known for its best placement records and faculty. My school teachers and parents chose this college for me and it's good environment here for an engineer who is willing to get a job in future. For admission in this college one needs a good rank in West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam
 

Academics Rating
The curriculum is well-designed and keeps pace with the latest industry trends. The college boasts excellent infrastructure, including well-equipped labs, libraries, and classrooms. Daily classes are taken and daily lab experiments and research works are done in several labs with the help of faculty. Semester exam is also a routine, with 4 internal examinations.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is experienced and dedicated, providing students with in-depth knowledge and guidance. They are all Ph.D holders and some are among top 2 percent scientist in the world, The style they maintain while teaching is awesome, really effective for a student to understand and execute. VIVAS and Practical exams are done very efficiently by our teachers
 

Placement Rating
KGEC remains a top choice for engineering aspirants in West Bengal.
As it promises maximum percentage of students to get a placement or an internship, 75-80 percent students every year get placed in various companies and 20-30 percent students get internships from various companies like TCS, COGNIZANT, INFOSYS, HPL, HCL, WOOD DXCORR, MN Dastur and Amazon also
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel Life is best in Kalyani Government Engineering College. I live in Raja Ram Mohan Roy Hall. Food is good and various items are cooked daily. Fees are so cheap 2000 rupees per month
Infrastructure is good, no electricity or water issue, clean and green hostel premises
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good but need to be more developed, roads and lights need to be repaired soon. Lab instruments are needed in more numbers and other things like clubs and cells of college should get more help from the college faculties. More CCTV cameras and security guards are needed to be employed soon.
 

Campus Rating
Espektro is our annual techno management cum cultural fest of Kalyani Government Engineering College. The second largest fest in West Bengal with a huge budget and it goes on for 4 long days. There are 15 clubs in KGEC for coding, dancing, singing, art, literature, photography, videography, designing etc. We arrange events for other colleges to participate in and grow our reach to other areas.

    I appeared for WBJEE and according to my WBJEE rank I got admission in this particular college. I got selected in the first round and at the second round of counseling I upgraded my department from ECE to IT.     Kalyani Government Engineering College is best college for B.Tech degree. Everyone can join for their graduation degree from any department. Best faculties are here. Placement opportunities are decent especially in non-tech branches as well as campus life is very good. Hostel life is best here.
