Opinion of Third Year B.Tech Learner

Overall Rating
Hello, I am currently pursuing my B.Tech 3rd year in Mohan Babu University. I am giving knowledge to the best of my personal opinion. I chose this university because it has seats through EAMCET and the fees is comparatively less as compared to other deemed universities. From my first year onwards I think what I lack in my university is student’s opinion and voice.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are good and understandable. As mentioned above, admissions are through EAMCET entrance exam. University fee is up to 1-2 lakhs depending on your year of joining.
 

Faculty Rating
The permanent faculty is good. Some put all their efforts and teach in such a way we can understand but some lack the enthusiasm.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, but very few are placed. It is in your hands to crack an interview and it is university's job to bring companies (which is done perfectly).
 

Hostel Rating
MBU has many residential facilities like PGs, main hostels, and velar hostels near to the university. We can have a walk of 1 KM from main campus to university as the hostels are outside the university. The mess has different varieties of menu.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic infrastructure wise, it is very good with Wi-Fi access. The labs are okay. Some labs are top notch while some other needs to be renovated. There are distinct block for each branch. Library is good and we can take books to our room and study.
 

Campus Rating
In an academic year, we come across 3 fests: fresher’s day in January, Annual Day in March and Mohan Mantra (3-day fest) in October. You can wear your desired outfits, participate in the events and competitions, and immerse yourself in concert night, dj night. We have different clubs in our university to engage in club activities.

    The reasons for why I joined this university are its good placements, environment, and faculty. After I joined here, I got great friends and good knowledge. Even my cousins advised me to join this university so that is another reason why I choose MBU Tirupati. In our university, rules are very good. Like mobile phones are not allowed to the class rooms and we have uniform. Students are not allowed to enter the campus without uniform. I like these rules very much.... Read Full Review

    My overall experience of my college was excellent because of the faculty atmosphere and campus environment. Due to good placements and infrastructure I chose that college. The discipline in college attracted me the most. The library and the facilities in library are simply amazing. You can find different types of books, journals, national and international magazines.
