My Campus Life & Academic Journey at St. Xavier's College Jaipur

Overall Rating
My experience at this College was good. It provides various opportunities to the students and it had helped me in my overall development. This College is a perfect blend of academics and extra-curricular activities. In fact, I would recommend my juniors to pursue their higher studies from this College. Choosing this College is one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
 

Academics Rating
I have done B.A (Hons.) in English Literature. The eligibility criteria were not that difficult, it was just that the students must have completed their class 12th boards with at least 50%. The admission process was also quite simple, you just have to fill the admission form and pay the fee. The curriculum was same as the University of Rajasthan. The exams are conducted twice a year.
The fee of my course ranges from Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- per year. The students are also required to pay other charges as well such as registration fee which is of Rs. 2000/-, etc. There are several merit based scholarships and financial aids available for students. The College provides scholarship to the meritorious and financially week students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this College are great. The teachers make all the subjects so easy to understand. Most of them have done Ph.D. They use unique way to teach the students and makes the students understand basic concepts. They teach us with the help of PPTs, group discussion, etc. My bond with the teachers was great.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, St. Xavier's College Jaipur has a placement cell. It helps students to secure good placements. At my time, there were not that much placement drives are conducted.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College offers accommodation facilities to the students. I was a day scholar but I heard that the hostel offers decent facilities to the students. The hostels are separate for both male and female students but the dining area is common for all. The mess serves three meals a day. It serves good quality of food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The College is well constructed with proper infrastructure. Each classroom is equipped with smart boards, comfortable chairs & table, etc. The campus has separate area for sports activities. The library is huge and it has wide range of books. The campus has auditorium where several events are held, canteen which serves fresh food, transportation facilities, etc. My favorite place was the ground where I used to play games with my friends.
 

Campus Rating
If you are looking for a unique experience and a great campus life, then St. Xavier's College Jaipur is a great choice. The campus has great crowd. Numerous clubs are there and I was a part of the Literary club. Various events and fests are conducted throughout the year. I have spent great time in this College. I can proudly say that it was a great journey.
