St. Xavier's College Jaipur is a private Jesuits Institution which is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan. The College have around 9 departments at the College offering UG, PG and Ph.D programmes to the students. The College aims to sensitize, educate, empower and develop the youth. Being a visionary Institution, this College has helped me achieve my goals and trained me to master my majors. The fact that it is an academically oriented College which focuses equally on the extracurricular development of the students makes helps it standout.

I am pursuing my Bachelor in English Literature; this course allows me to cater to my interests in literature and art. The admission is conducted on the basis of percentage scored by the students in their board exams. They also have to go through the document verification procedure. The exams are conducted as per the guidelines issued by the University of Rajasthan. The College also conducts mid semester exams to evaluate and prepare the students for the end semester exams. The College conducts field visits to provide their students with real life experiences in their respective fields. They offer a variety of multidisciplinary courses and certificate courses. The College helps students who are preparing for competitive exams by providing them with certain study materials. The College aims to support the best interest of their students.

The fee structure of the College ranges from Rs. 78,000/- to Rs. 1,20,000/- depending upon the course chosen by the students. I paid Rs. 78,000/- for my first year and for the second and third year, I had to pay Rs. 60,000/- each year. Merit and need based scholarships & transportation scholarship are offered to the students for their remarkable performance and attendance during the academic year.

The faculty members of my department are highly qualified, likewise for other departments too. The teachers use engaging and intriguing methods to teach. It includes PPTs, group discussions, movie screenings, field visits and assignments focusing on lectures and presentations from the students. The teachers are always on their toes to help us. They are friendly and approachable, making it easy for the students to have a healthy College life.

The College has a Training, Internship and Placement (TIPC) Cell which conducts placement drives for the third year students. It aims at training students for internships and placements. The coordinator of the cell generates leads for internship opportunities and helps students approach the HRs of the companies. Few of my friends got their first internships from the College itself. The cell allows us to explore different avenues for training and learning.

The College offers residential facilities to the female students of the College. It charges approximately Rs. 80,000/- annually as the hostel fee. The College canteen is responsible for the mess requirements of the students. The College canteen offers healthy, hygienic and delicious food covering a vast menu.

The College has a single academic block expanding over a land of 20+ acres. Moreover, the campus has Divyangjan friendly facilities. It is located near the Nevta Dam at Mahapura road. The classrooms are well-ventilated and equipped with smart boards. The ‘Aruppe Central Library’ is a built over 5868.49 sq.ft with thousands of books. It is well equipped with kiosk software and offers digital help. The library is digitally available which offers access to all the books, journals, papers and other study materials. There is a well-equipped conference hall for seminars and official gatherings, auditorium, gender studies and women's cell. Sports facilities include Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Badminton Court, Cricket Ground and an indoor sports block for indoor sports. College offers well equipped Science and Psychology labs. There is an open air gym which is accessible to all the students and staff members.

The campus life at St. Xavier’s College Jaipur is as intriguing as it sounds. The cultural fest 'Zest' is the major highlight where popular artist perform and make the fest a remarkable one. Departmental fests are also conducted. The clubs and societies have their own competitions and events. The College conducts several events and competitions, for example, the Procenium, a theatrical event organised by the department of English. The activities conducted by the NCC and NSS cell also add up to the campus life. I always love to be in College, the crowd, the environment and the events keep the campus and me lively throughout the year.
