There is a Training and Placement Cell at St. Xavier's College Jaipur

St. Xavier's College Jaipur has been a renowned College for its academics as well as the extracurricular activities which involve various fests and events. The Infrastructure is something much talked about and the campus is surrounded by a lot of greenery which makes it different from other Colleges. The courses provided are very diverse and the environment is very dynamic. The management and the faculty provide great help to the students so that they can make the maximum use of their potential to evolve as a person.

I have chosen Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) course. The eligibility criteria for admission into this College is merit-based. The process of the admission is not complicated at all and is hassle-free once you clear the minimum eligibility criteria of the College. The only suggestion is that you should keep your documents ready at the earliest. The new curriculum has changed from yearly examination to semester wise examination, so the frequency of the examination in every semester is twice with multiple assignments in it. The most beneficial thing for every student is that they get to explore so many subjects related to Business as new set of subjects are introduced in every semester. This helps them in making up their mind about which specialisation to choose in post graduate programmes. Moreover, it prepares the students for real-life tasks, challenges etc. They also encourage students for industrial visits so that they get to know how to implement the same in real-life situations, improve their decision-making skills, grasp knowledge about production & raw materials, working of the firm, and all other related things.

The amount for registering application is Rs. 1500/- which might vary for early birds. It is followed by a mandatory Admission fee of Rs. 60,000/-. The fee structure followed in the College is semester wise with the overhead being the Tuition fees, Library fees, and fees for the other facilities provided. The total fees for my course includes Rs. 90,000/- for first year, Rs. 75,000/- for second year, and Rs. 70,000/- for the third year.

The faculty is undoubtedly good. The level of support and help they provide is unmatchable. The faculty helps the student in every way possible which will eventually help them grow and evolve as a person. The method of teaching involves practical knowledge and real-life examples. The case studies discussed in classes play a major role in developing their thinking ability and improving decision-making skills. The faculty members are very approachable and helps student in solving their problems with the best approach possible. They also provide class notes, presentations, and other relevant content to students to help them prepare well for the examinations and get good scores.

Placements of my College are handled by Training and Placement Cell.

The infrastructure of the St. Xavier's College Jaipur campus is very beautifully designed and has all the basic to luxurious facilities at the campus. The Classrooms are very well-designed and ventilated with a seating capacity of around 70 to 80 students. There are academic facilities like Library which is named as ‘Arrupe Library’ and comes under the list of National Libraries of India. The other academic facilities include Practical Labs, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, Biothermal Labs, etc. Moreover, other facilities like Seminar Halls and Conference Hall which are majorly meant for official discussions. There’s also has a double-storey Auditorium with a large capacity. The Canteen is where students spend most of their free time. There are both Indoor & Outdoor Sports facilities alongwith an open gym. The Sports’ instructors are friendly towards the students and eager to help them excel in the sport they are interested in. The Transportation facility is available for the students who want to avail it and moreover, personal vehicles are also allowed. Most importantly, the College campus feels so secure with Security Guards monitoring 24/7.

The overall campus life is fun. We have multiple Clubs and Societies for Music, Dance, Theatre, Fashion, etc. The Fashion Club is the most famous one in the College. The presence of various Clubs makes the campus life much more engaging for the students. We also have many events and a major fest every year. Every department has their own event and Open Mic is one of the major parts of those events. It helps the students to interact with students of other departments and get to know them better. All the festivals are also celebrated in a fun way.
