Campus Area of St. Xavier's College Jaipur is Approximately 30 Acres

I chose St. Xavier's College because of its outstanding remarks in the field of education, especially in Jaipur. It is very far away from the main city but it is totally worth it as they focus on both studies and co curricular activities. Every other day, there is an event happening in the College of various different departments. Students can commute through the College bus with different routes or their own vehicle, as they prefer. The College is putting many efforts in building the hostel and canteen, which is something very impressive.

I chose B.Com as I always had interest in Finance, Taxation, and Accounting. There is no such hard pathway one has to follow to enroll in this College. It is a very simple procedure; you have to fill a form and then you can visit the College for a quick campus tour, which is only possible after registration. There are no such eligibility criteria in this College. It also knows how to prepare a student to face real life challenges & it is done by building qualities related to activities, events, and of course studies.

The fees of my department year was somewhere around Rs. 77,000/- (for 1st year) excluding transportation and changes. There is no such special discount as far as I know and the scholarship depends on how well do you perform throughout your College tenure until the very last year.

Teachers are supportive and are always ready to help the students in academics as well as co curricular activities, which is equally important for one to survive his tenure in any College. All the teachers are well qualified. As far as I know, my department teachers have received only positive feedback for their quality education that they are providing. B.Com teachers stand at the top most position when it comes to problem solving and risk management. There is a very friendly and supportive bond between the teachers and students.

There is a very Placement Cell in my College, which helps students achieve an internship during the 2nd or 3rd year of their course and to receive a job afterwards. The cell has done remarkable job and has proved they the best.

There was a girl’s hostel until my second year but now they have started renovating everything and they is a separate building for boys. Girl’s hostel inside the campus along with a very big canteen. The food that College provides in the mess is tasty and you can refill it as many times as you wish to. I don't stay in hostel so I have no idea regarding the fees and timings. Ss far as I know, the timings to return back to College for your hostel is around 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

The College has clean, green, and well-maintained campus that covers nearly 30 acres of area. There is a spacious library with a large collection of various books. Smart classrooms with projectors. Sports facilities, auditorium, cafeteria and open spaces for events are also present. The main thing that affects the College students is the Wi-Fi range and also the size of the campus. It is a no doubt very big campus but it is generally considered as a small one as compared to other Colleges of Jaipur.

The overall campus life is very great because of the never-ending list of events. There is a mix type of people in College crowd, some are great and some are not. There are many clubs such as fintech, music, sports, etc. There is a fest named ‘ZEST’, which occurs only once a year and is considered to be the best event of St. Xavier’s College Jaipur till date. This College celebrates every single festival whether it is Makar Sankranti or Holi. My experience until today is very great and generous and I'm really happy that I took admission in this College for B.Com, rather than wasting excess time and money for a simple course in any other College.
