Overall Rating
This institute is situated in my hometown and therefore I'm in my comfort zone. Moreover the department that I chose is one of the best departments in the college. The faculty is supportive and people are friendly, classes are conducted regularly and teachers are quite friendly. Seminar is conducted once in ever semester and yoga workshops are held about twice a year.
 

Academics Rating
We have to register over selves through the SAMARTH App. In a month or so, merit lists are posted on the same app, three merit lists are published, and if spots are left, students may get seats in spot admission. Admission is based on class 12 result. I have enrolled in this specific program, because chemistry has a lot of scope in future.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is supportive and friendly. The teachers are well qualified, and they teach in an easy to understand method. Mostly while teaching they use Assamese and English to explain the various topics. We can take our doubts to the Professors, whenever we are facing any sort of problem. They organise seminars and workshops on a session basis.
 

Placement Rating
Many students who have graduated from our college from chemistry department have got admission in IITs and NITS and they are pursuing M.Sc in chemistry there. One is doing Ph.D as well as earning in Japan.
 

Hostel Rating
I don't stay in the hostel so I don't know a lot about hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have about 8 buildings in the college campus. We have an academic block for commerce and on the right side of that specific building we have arts block. Science department are located at the front in the college. We have a separate building for Computer department and one is the office building.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is quite interesting. The most exciting events are the elections, the candidates are very passionate for the elections. Campaigning is done on a large scale. Two fresher’s party are conducted, one is organised by the union for the 1st semester students of the entire college and another is organised by the department seniors for the 1st semester students of the department.

    I chose Tinsukia College because of financial problem. In this college the fees of BBA course is less than other colleges and it's affordable for me. Experience for me in this college is average. Yes, I met some friends and because of them my college life has been little bit better but not from other side. Infrastructure is average and faculty is also not so good of my department.
