My Outlook on KC College

Overall Rating
My experience at KC College, Mumbai has been extremely wonderful. It has supportive faculty members, provides a wide range of extracurricular activities, and has a vibrant atmosphere. It is located at a prime location and very near to the station, so it is very convenient for us to travel to college. We get great opportunities to grow academically.
 

Academics Rating
This college has many programs. I am in BMS program. Bachelor’s of Management Studies is a great program for students who want to gain knowledge in Management field. The course has theory as well as practical. The eligibility criterion here was merit based when I applied here. We are required to choose electives in second year. I have chosen Finance as my electives. The reason behind choosing it was so that later while doing MBA, I could get an added benefit.
 

Faculty Rating
College has an amazing faculty. The professors are supportive and knowledgeable. They are very encouraging and are always on time. They put a lot of emphasis on student’s development and encourage us to participate in extracurricular activities. My HOD is also very sweet and helpful.
 

Placement Rating
Regarding placements, top recruiting companies, such as KPMG, etc. visit the campus for recruitment drive. The placement cell also organizes the workshops and seminars to help students prepare for the job market, which are very informative and helpful. There are numerous internship opportunity as well.
 

Hostel Rating
It does not have hostels. Mumbai is extremely expensive and therefore finding a place to live is difficult but through common link, we can find PGs and flats nearby.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good. It has well equipped laboratories, a comprehensive library, and modern classrooms with air conditioning. KC College has amazing canteen that serves variety of food.. However, it is a little expensive for students but definitely worth it.
 

Campus Rating
KC College is very lively and bustling with activities throughout the year. Students have access to various clubs and societies, ranging from cultural and sports clubs to academic and professional organizations. It also hosts amazing fests. I myself was a part of many fests. It was very fun as well as it helped me learn how an event is managed.

    Mumbai University has many top colleges and Church Gate definitely some of the best in class with HR, Jai Hind College and others. Though I lived in suburb I wanted to do my college from town and that is how I went to Kishinchand Chellaram College. BMM course was my preferred as my friends have done this course and I looked up to them as mentors as they are cool and smart and I needed both those quotients in my personality too.     KC College is without a doubt one of the top colleges in Mumbai. People from various backgrounds come and study here. The crowd is one of the best that you will find in Mumbai College.
