Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Rajampet has become a private university (Annamacharya University) this year. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in the stream of Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The university’s environment is very good with all facilities of studying. It also provides so many opportunities to the students by creating the friendly environment. It is having facilities like Library, Digital library, Computer labs, NCC, along with university’s Radio channel to be familiar with the new things happening in here. There is a placement cell for awareness towards new jobs/placements or about trending technologies. The faculty here creates friendly environment to share and express the ideas. They also help through project works. Above overall, things made me choose this university was the betterment of future and up skill myself. You can choose this university.

University provides all type of courses such as, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) {with streams like CSE, ECE, EEE, AI & DS, AI & ML, CS & IOT, CS & Cyber Security, Mechanical, and Civil}, Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Allied Health Sciences, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Agriculture, Master of Science {Physics, Chemistry}, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and Master of Arts (MA) {English}. The basic entry requirement of each course is to have at least marks with PCM stream in HSC. Furthermore, the candidates are also required to have valid score in one of entrance exam of respective course. These can be EAPCET, ICET, PGECET, TGCET, or ICET. It also conducts scholarship test for students who are joining freshly to the university. Main motive of every program is to educate students and help them reach their goals and dreams.

As I am starting with my branch Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Head of the Department has achieved the title of the best teacher in state in the year 2023 and her name is Dr. Padma Lalitha. Most of the faculty members are GATE rankers, who have scored the rank below 5000. Most of the faculty members in my branch are who got good ranks in ESE and most of the competitive examinations. One of the latest achievements was Best teacher award, and got the Doctorate in research field of Machines and Motors (Dr. Sarada Madam). Everyone has his or her own talent and achievement.

Yes, Annamacharya University is having the placement cell. It helps the student in enhancing their abilities, personality, and competency in the competitive world. It also organizes awareness programs regarding placements and jobs. It also conducts campus recruitment training program to train students for Aptitude, coding rounds, resume preparing, interviews, group discussions, communication skills, and technical skills.

Yes, university is having residential facilities for both boys and girls. The hostel life is very joyful with friends. The environment is also very nice. Hostels have the facilities of comfortable rooms and bathrooms. All hostels celebrate the girl’s hostel day and boy’s hostel day every year to entertain the students. Students can also make complaints if any uncomfortable things happen with them. College is also having the facility of canteen to eat some more tasty food for every weekend.

Every branch and department is having its own block. The campus structure is very creative in its own way. It has academic blocks like Main block, P.G block, Civil block, Mechanical block, Masters block, etc. It also has laboratories like Physics lab, Chemistry lab, and Digital library for the preparation of NPTEL, GATE, and IEEE. More than 20 computer labs are there in the university. Every lab has its own facility of internet access, chairs to sit, lab technicians. Classrooms are also having setup of wall projectors. Both hardware and software labs and experiment center also there. University is also having facility of canteen to eat some tasty food.

Overall campus life is full of new experiences and innovations for students. University is having clubs like Culture's club, Sports club, NCC Board, Innovations and Ideas club. Every year, it conducts fest and annual days to congratulate students’ achievements in both academic and extra-curricular activities. Campus members also conduct some blood campaigns. Society is helpful as it facilitates with the activities like trust associations, and environment cleaning. It also holds some more interesting competitions like essay writing, elocution and quiz competitions for students to make them connect with other students and new friends.
