My Memorable Journey in Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women

Overall Rating
Kakinada Institute of engineering and technology for Women is located in Korangi, Andhra Pradesh. I did both Diploma and B.Tech from here. The campus environment is much disciplined. I love this institute. I choose Electronics & Communication Engineering in both Diploma and B.Tech.
 

Academics Rating
The academics are very good and the course curriculum is very easy for those who understand the concept of the subjects. The exams are conducted in every six months, with proper guidance. We can easily pass the semester subjects.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very good and friendly in nature towards the students. Faculties teach subjects in a very understandable manner. They specially take care about the below average students. They also help students during their last year with their projects.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in my institute. They help the students to crack interview and campus placement process. They also avail CRT classes for students.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility is available in Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women inside the campus. They are very hygienic. The infrastructure of hostel is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 4 floor buildings in the campus. There are separate blocks for different branches. For example ECE block and CSE blocks are opposite to each other. There is a huge seminar block, and library is available. Canteen is below ECE block, and grounds are near lab rooms.
 

Campus Rating
The institute management conducts events and fests for students occasionally. For newly joined students, they conduct ‘Abhiyaan’ and ‘Hackathon Events’ and encourage students in technical knowledge. It also conducts Quizzes, Debates, Coding Round, Mini Projects, and Group Discussions in the events. There is also celebration for Pongal, Diwali, and Women's Day.
