Positive experience at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology

Overall Rating
The college is well reputed in the neighborhood as it is close to my house and that is why I chose this college. The fee structure is also adjustable, and the students are friendly. Various events, several trips and industrial visits are organised for the students.
 

Academics Rating
There is a state wise test named KEAM through which you have to score the minimum cutoff marks. Candidate should be a 12th pass with at least 70% marks.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members teaching the course are all well-educated and most of them have Master's degree in their field and some are pursuing Ph.D in their respective subjects. They are all friendly and are experts in their field.
 

Placement Rating
There is a Placement Cell which has good connections with alumni and other top companies to assist students to get job opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
There are hostel facilities for both male and female students in the college. There is a hostel mess and free Wi-Fi for every hosteller.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are mainly 3 blocks in the campus which includes Main Block, Bio Block and the Decennial Block. Each block is dedicated to different courses with lab facilities, joint department libraries and separate Wi-Fi facility. There is also an auditorium which is multipurpose.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is excellent. There are several clubs in the campus like the media club, green club, NSS, arts club, etc. Each club is active throughout the year and special reward points are given at the end of the course for participating in them.

    I will rate my college 7.5/10. Our college focuses mainly on academics. They don't give much importance to students’ soft skills like arts, sports, etc. Our college is one of the top engineering colleges in Kerala. There are 6 departments here; computer science and engineering, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics engineering, civil engineering, biotechnology, and biomedical engineering.     Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology provides an eco friendly campus. Nature lovers like the campus. There are mainly 3 buildings for studies and labs. There is a 'knowledge centre 'with a wide collection of books. All classrooms are well maintained. They give more importance to studies, not to extracurricular activities.     My experience in Sahrdayas Engineering College is very good. I am sure that my selection is the best because we know that it is a Christian management college and they provide enough freedom for arts and sports and they provide a large ground for sports activities. Faculties of SCET were outstanding and they are friendly and they conduct 2 internals in one sem so we can score good internal and good marks in final exam.     Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology is one of the colleges with most beautiful green campus in Thrissur, Kerala. Sahrdaya offers a variety of courses except mechanical engineering.
