Starting My Journey in Amity University, Mohali

Overall Rating
It has complete elegant campus. As it is a new university, we get day-to-day new interesting things. It has huge campus for a good campus life we can expect here. Talking about faculty or management staff, all are a very good helping hand in any situation. All the students have exclusive access to e-library. It includes various Bachelors’ programs. I personally accepted Clinical Psychology, which has been given by very few universities.
 

Academics Rating
For being selected in this university, a personal face-to-face interview is conducted by the university, and there will be faculty of your interested program. They will ask normal questions and make you comfortable with the program you are opting for. A minimum of 50 percent marks on your 12th board is required.
 

Faculty Rating
In my personal experience, I got best faculty in my subject. They have graduated from well-known university. In the coming days of university, I have faced many issues related to academics as it has been divided into 4 parts. They play major role in your CGPA. In every case, they are able to help you (whether in academics or personal life).
 

Placement Rating
As it is a new university, the campus offers a 3rd semester pre-placement round in which students get a chance to get placement in their 3rd semester. Its highest package is 35+ LPA from B.Tech. He achieved it in its 3rd semester. Recently, our university held a huge conference about placements in which various tech geniuses took part that gave us information about IT sectors.
 

Hostel Rating
Amity University, Mohali provides a hostel, which is of two types: 4 sharing rooms and 1 single room. 4 sharing rooms cost is around 80,000 INR per annum. For a single room, it is about 1, 80,000 rupees per annum. It includes a GYM built by Cult Fit GYM. Every single facility is provided with a ragging-free campus. Food is not included in the hostel fee, as there is a restaurant in the cafeteria called 7 Spices where students can get there daily day-to-day meal.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Amity University, Mohali is a complete replica of Amity university Dubai. Its good infrastructure can be seen in its first look. It has elegant design. The university is build at a prime location 10 minute away from International Airport. University has biggest water recycling unit within the campus where fresh water is being flows 24/7. It has 2 gates are there one leading to academic other leading to main IT block.
 

Campus Rating
We get see various fest organized by our seniors to make life joyful. As it is a new university, new type of events are being help in the university. ‘Sangathan’ is university biggest event where every students of Amity University take part and compete against each other in various activities.
