Satisfactory college experience

Overall Rating
My experience with the college has been average while some aspects gave me helpful insights while others were the opportunities I missed. There should have been more cultural fests and activities being organised.
 

Academics Rating
Bachelor of Science in Physics is a traditional course under CBCS syllabus made by UGC offers us skills necessary to understand industry. To enroll in this course, you need to show good academic performance in class 12 in science stream. While I had to give an entrance test to get into the course, it's easy to get admission if you have a good academic history.
 

Faculty Rating
We had five faculty members assigned for a batch of 120 students approximately, each teacher taught us different subjects of our syllabus including C1 to C12 for 3 semesters out of a total of 6 semesters. We had a calm and knowledgeable HOD who was very cooperative and helpful to us.
 

Placement Rating
No, there is no active Placement Cell which offers placement at our college recently.
 

Hostel Rating
No, we don't have residential facilities in the college as far as I know but you should confirm it once with the officials of the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are three main towers in the infrastructure of the campus and it is surrounded by other buildings such as the cafeteria, canteen and campus ground. There is a Library, Laboratories, Seminar hall and other facilities at our disposal. While the food items at the cafeteria are priced reasonably. A full course meal prepared with hygiene is served at Rs.35/- only. The library has a good collection of books, but the room is not well-lit. There are three blocks namely Science, Arts and Commerce.
 

Campus Rating
We didn't get to enjoy many fests but there are two or three fests in our campus which were good. The academics were so time consuming that we got quite less spare time to join the events. There was a Laboratory Science exhibition organised in our last year as a part of our syllabus.

    I am pursuing B.Sc in Gossner College, Ranchi in Physics Honors. Here I got direct admission on merit basis and hopefully I will complete my degree next year. I chose this institute as it's very close to my residence and very good to pursue my B.Sc Degree. I will recommend this college to those who are willing to take admission here.     This college is best for the students whose economic conditions are not well. The education system, facilities and faculties are best and on the other hand the fee is low as compared to the other colleges in Ranchi. There are many trees in the campus of this college for pure environment. The management has maintained the college very well. The teachers here are very friendly and hardworking.
