Good faculty members

Overall Rating
The main thing which made me choose this college is the student-faculty relations. We have a 24x7 working helpline to provide help with any issue. I am in the Mass Communication department, we have a separate department and also a studio specifically for teaching us how to broadcast news, a voice over studio and a Mac Lab.
 

Academics Rating
Overall, the faculty is very nice and they are also not very strict about attendance which gives us ample time to do self study. You need to score 80% marks in 10+2 to get admission in the college.
 

Faculty Rating
The lectures of the faculties are very good. They put inputs for building our base but few of the teachers can be strict some days while lenient some other days. Overall, they are qualified to the society benchmark.
 

Placement Rating
Placement Cells are not that active but for the Journalism department higher studies are encouraged. Nevertheless, placement cells do organise workshops for students to get better industry insights.
 

Hostel Rating
We don't have hostel facilities in the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus building is the main attraction of the masses as it is a very new college, the building is well maintained and very nice. We have a cafeteria, fully stocked library, different labs, a studio floor and a voice over room. There is a separate garden for the botany department for research purposes.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is a bit hectic because back-to-back lectures are conducted but we have cultural programs and also our college fest Ripples which is held during the year end. These events ease our stress. We also have a NSS club. Campus life becomes good because we get to interact with our friends.

    You can get admission through merit. The courses available are BBA, B.Com, BA, and B.Sc. You can also avail scholarship based on your marks. There are no ac in every class but yes some classes have it. Lift is also available. Overall the college is good for taking admission and enhancing your skills.... Read Full Review

    As a HR Enthusiast, pursuing BBA (Hons.) from a decent college was always my target. While searching for college, I found THK Jain College. I chose this college because it has decent facilities and provides good practical leanings suited for today's industry.     This college is situated in Cossipore, Howrah. It is a private college, provides courses in minimum budget. No part politics is there. Each and every teacher is so friendly and helpful and staff is like friends. If you can't buy books or are not able to know about the best book writers, then you can borrow books from the library.
