My college life currently at Mangalam College of Engineering Ettumanoor, Kottayam

Overall Rating
My overall experience in this college has been average. Everything here goes according to the timetable and there are 2 series of semester exams. The faculties are good and all of them are well qualified and always help us with our doubts, if any. I chose this college because I heard from my friends that it’s a good college to get valuable knowledge and that is why I took admission here.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility requirement is that the student should have a plus two certificates. The admission process is simple; I had a meeting with the administration officials, and they gave me the basic information about the requirements of the course and also informed me about the fee structure. I took admission through KEAM entrance exam; therefore, the overall admission process was simple.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are good and their behavior towards the students is polite. All of them are well qualified and they are always there for us if we have any doubts, and they always try to make the concept clear for everyone. The faculties teach us dedicatedly.
 

Placement Rating
We have a Placement Cell at our college, and we have a specific period called placement training wherein they give us basic information about placement and related aspects.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is beautiful; there are around 7-9 buildings in the campus and the main building is modern with requisite facilities. There are many spots to sit and relax inside the campus including one canteen and one food court. The classrooms are equipped with the teaching & learning materials and neat and in most of the classes the seating arrangements are organized.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is average. There are mainly 4 events held in the college: Arts, Tech, Torque, and Onam celebration. These events are really enjoyable and 90% of the students take part in these events. During these events there is no compulsion on maintaining the attendance for the students who are participating in the events.
