The overall experience in this college is amazing. The environment around the college is very peaceful. It is approved by IHRD (Institute of Human Resources Development). It is also accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation). These two points played major role in selecting this college for higher studies.

The main advantage of joining this college is its way of giving prime importance to academics and spending less time in other activities, which helps students to have fruitful career. They provide course like Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Communication Engineering, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering. The eligibility to join CEC, Alappuzha is to qualify KEAM exam and 12th standard passed with good marks in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. There is no group discussion or personal interview as a further procedure for admission. There are total 270 seats available. All the subjects are taught in a well-organized manner.

The teachers are well qualified and experienced. They provide best education to the students. The classes are taken according to scheme or schedule. All teachers complete 95% of syllabus before the semester exam even if they lost some classes. The teachers mainly have more than 5 years of experience in different professional colleges.

Yes, training and placement cell of the college plays a significant role in recruiting students. Almost 70 or 80% students got placement from the college in 2024.

The hostels are also very good with all the needed facilities. Monthly fee for hostel is 5500 INR. There are 5 boy’s hostels and a girl’s hostel.

The college building is well planned and built with all required facilities. There is a main block with labs, classrooms, offices, and other facilities. There are three blocks in total, namely Electrical and Electronics block and a Computer Science block with separate lab rooms. Library is quiet big and has wide variety of books available. A new washroom was inaugurated this year along with sports courts for football, volleyball, badminton, and lot of open space for students.

I never felt bored in the campus. The students are usually engaged in any of the activities and they will not know how the four years passed. CEC, Alappuzha encourages many social clubs like NSS, spacs, etc. that provides knowledge to students about their social life. In addition to this, the college conducts many other activities like tech fest, coding competition, hackathons, etc. to develop students along with cultural fests like arts fest and other cultural celebrations.
