MANIT, Bhopal: Big & lush green campus with good academic curriculum

Overall Rating
Since the day I joined this prestigious institute, I've got immense opportunities to prosper in any field I wish to be taking part in the clubs’ activities & fests. The campus is ragging free & we are all proud to be a part of this big family of MANITian. MANIT is located in a very popular spot of Bhopal city which is nearby the New Market, DB mall & Kamlapati railway station. Here, one can live peacefully cutting off from the noisy roads of the city. The campus of MANIT is beautiful & serene.
 

Academics Rating
The academics of MANIT are overall good but still there's a lot of room for improvement. To get admission in this institute, one needs to secure a minimum of 99.4 percentile in JEE Mains to study B.Tech. I've opted for Electrical Engineering. It is tough to get admission in the B.Tech, B.Arch & B.Planning courses as the cutoff is high. One needs to work hard in JEE Mains to get the desired seat in MANIT.
 

Faculty Rating
The professors & faculties of MANIT are very good & they mostly teach us through PPTs. They have all come from a very good academic background, and most of them having completed their M.Tech & some of them are even Ph.D holders. Their style of teaching is good & understandable. Some teachers are friendly, some are straightforward & some are not so interactive. Overall, the faculties are polite to us. They complete the syllabus on time and give us enough time to prepare for the practical tests and exam.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell in MANIT. It really helps the students acquire jobs in the industry as here, in MANIT; we have a 10-star rating for startup culture.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we've residential facilities at MANIT. Here, the hostel life has a friendly & cooperative culture. We are always there for each other whenever in need. The hostel mess runs under the management of students only. It's a student cooperative mess, where we decide our mess menu. There's also a Sports Committee in which the members oversee the sports equipments, sports events & activities. We have got a big field, badminton court & a table tennis room to play. Overall, the hostel life is healthy & everyone loves to live together in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
MANIT is the biggest campus out of all the NITs of India. Here, there are a lot of buildings like LRC (Learning Resource Center), NTB (New Teaching Block), departmental buildings, cafeteria, laundry, stationary shops, general stores, night canteens, etc. There are also 2 parks for us to spend our leisure time. There's also a Central Library, Academic Office, Dean Office, Director Office, Scholarship Cell & much more. All types of amenities are available here, like we have e-buses running on the streets of MANIT. It aids us to travel to & from the hostel & class.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is overall amazing here. One literally gets a new life when one stays in the hostel. The crowd within the hostel, departments & classes is good. A lot of fests & programs are being conducted here throughout the year. There are also a variety of clubs in which we can take part to up skill ourselves & our personalities, such as Roobaroo (Instrumental & Singing Club), Pixel (Photography Club), etc.

    The overall experience is very good at MANIT Bhopal. We have a very wide lush and green campus of 650 acres. The factors that made me choose this college is its competitiveness, opportunities, and a good placement. Since our college is an institute of National Importance, many top companies visit here to offer on campus placements. The placement rate is about 85 to 90 percent.     My overall experience till now is too good in college. The faculty members are good and seniors are also supportive except few. I got this college after my JEE Main rank. It was the best option for me. The lush green campus spread across 650 acre is different from other colleges.     The overall experience in Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology is better than anyone experiencing in any other engineering institute and it is one of the best colleges in Bhopal.
