MCM DAV College for Women: A Good College

Overall Rating
Overall college is good, the faculty is helpful and crowd in the college is friendly. Also, the college has good collection of books in library. NSS and NCC societies are also available here. Also, placement opportunities are average. Otherwise it is a good college for BCA students especially.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing BCA from this college. the faculty is good and helpful. these professors are very well qualified. In academics aspect college is doing really well. IT fests are also organized to widen the perspective of students and for them to make it easy to get exposure. Admission is directly done via Panjab University’s website on merit basis.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of MCM DAV College for Women is very good. The teachers are easily approachable. Teachers are well qualified and provide quality education to students. mostly teachers are Ph.D holders. Their teaching style is easy to understand. Also the faculty is always available for any guidance or mentorship which student requires. Teachers provide great guidance and are friendly.
 

Placement Rating
Placements of this college are not very good.
 

Hostel Rating
I have not resided in hostel although I have heard hostel facilities are good and easily accessible.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus map is easily understandable. Although the campus of MCM DAV College for Women is not very large. It is a small campus. However the building structure is good. There are multiple food canteens in college to have food and it is of good quality and reasonable prices too. But one drawback is that the college classes have very small benches, so benches are something to work on. Campus also has medicals and library facilities.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of college is good. the crowd is easy to blend with, and teachers are friendly. You can make friends easily. Campus has several areas to sit by and relax. A very limited number of fests and events are organised in MCM DAV College for Women.

    It’s very safe for women and its environment is very comfortable. It provides lot of opportunities to showcase your talent. Its number 2 in Chandigarh.     My overall experience at this college is going amazing. Students and teachers of our department are truly helpful and supportive. Our teachers really put their heart and soul to deliver their best so that we can learn and get hand on experience.     The overall review of the college is good. As the faculty focuses on the students study and uses different teaching techniques. The campus is very spacious and it has different sections for food, clicking pictures and for quality time with friends.
