Arya College of Engineering and IT B.Tech Review By Charitra Samadiya

Arya College of Engineering and IT is one of the reputed colleges in Rajasthan. It is known for its technical education and practical exposure. I chose this college because it is the 3rd best Engineering college in Jaipur. This college does not have any entrance exam and fee for my batch (2021-2025) is only 85015 rupees for one year. My overall experience of my college is best and others go for the same college. This college is affiliated by Rajasthan Technical University, which is semi-government University.

Arya College of Engineering and IT, which is known, as oldest campus to provide two courses, 1st is B.Tech and 2nd is MBA. In B.Tech, there are 4-5 branches like Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. Eligibility for B.Tech students is to have 60% or above marks in 12th. This requirement is only for Computer Science, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence branch. For other branch, students with lesser. For entry, there is a form called admission form and fee for this form is 1000 rupees and 10000 rupees for enrolling in this college.

Many faculty members have qualifications such as Ph.D and M.Tech from top universities of India. Some departments may also have industry experience. Professors often emphasize building a strong understanding of core concepts especially in technical concepts. Some professors teach with power point presentation. Many faculty members are approachable, supportive, and support, giving guidance and project mentorship.

Yes, college has placement cell called TPC means training and placement cell that actively works to help students for being placed is respective companies. Some other roles of placement cell is to prepare students for placements and IT, focus on strong soft skill (communications skill, etc.), and assist students for GDs means Group Discussion. It also provides internship opportunities to students.

I opted for the hostel in first year and after that, I shifted to PG (paying guest) which is just near to the college. Mess food in not up to the mark. It needs to more hygienic. Environment of hostel is good because some facilities are only for hostel students not for day scholars like playground and all. Infrastructure of college is good. All students after attending mess food visit campus with their groups and spend some time.

The campus is spread in 25 acres, which is very large area. The infrastructure is a mix of modern and traditional architectural designs. It has green environment. College has 5-6 building blocks. It starts from admission department block, which is at the entrance of college. Others are Computer Science Block, Mechanical Engineering Block, Electrical Engineering Block, and library block. If we talk about classrooms, classrooms are equipped with projectors and white boards. There is a vast library with wide collection of books and journals with free Wi-Fi.

Now, let’s talk about campus life, crowd, and clubs in Arya College of Engineering and its crowd consists of 3500-4000 students. Many events are organized by college like victory events, which is farewell of 4th year and ‘Goonj’. In this event, all the students participate and has lot of gaming activities & events. Fresher’s party is arranged for first year students. These are all the events organized by college and some students of college. Nightlife of campus is best. Some students play guitar, sing in groups, and enjoy every moment of their college life.
