Life at Medicaps

Overall Rating
Medicaps University has numerous courses. It offers various fields and the specializations. The faculty is much more knowledgeable here as compared to other universities. The labs and workshops are well equipped and up to date with the equipment. The campus is great as well with lush green trees and beautiful big buildings and lots of space to have a free environment around you. The student body is also pretty average with diverse students from all around the country. Overall, it is one of the good universities.
 

Academics Rating
To be eligible for B.Tech admissions, you will need 12th board marksheet and optional competitive examination results. The specialization that I took in B.Tech is Robotics. It is only available in this university in whole Indore. You can also sit in the scholarship exam, if you want to attain scholarship or need financial aid.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is very experienced in their respective fields. Their way of teaching is a bit complex but once you get used to it, it gets easier to understand. I have met few great faculties with great research background and several research papers published. They are very distinguished and keen to help students with researches as well. Overall, the faculty is great and you might find it difficult to mingle up with them but it gets easier once you get used to it.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell in Medicaps University. The placements are good. The packages are quite average but companies that visit are good. For instance, this year lot of placements took part in TCS, offering average to good packages. The placements solely depend upon the skill set of a student. Many of my seniors were placed and were quite happy with their packages as well.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the hostel is present in Medicaps University. Both boys and girls hostel are built separately. The infrastructure of the hostel is also very nice but the food is average as compared to what it should actually be offered. Hostel timings for girl’s hostel are also very rigid. The security is strict, as the decorum needs to be maintained. Overall, the rooms are comfortable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are many amenities available in the university campus like stationary, confectionery stores, and library along with different workshops and labs for different branch students. There are also several new age labs like robotics lab and foundation cell. It also has an office of international affairs, which deals with student exchange programs to different abroad countries. That is a very good opportunity for students who wish to study abroad at a lower cost.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average. The main event ‘Moonstone’ is well known around the campus. It hosts different bands and singers. It is a 3-day cultural event and sports fest. Overall, campus life is good. The crowd is okay as you might find different types of people around you.
