Marian College Kuttikkanam BCA Review By Dani Rajan

The college is simply outstanding in many ways. The main reason why I joined this college is because of its placement opportunities being provided for the students, followed by the infrastructure and faculty members of the campus. Students get all the freedom to participate in various co-curricular activities. The college hosts various events on many days along with the events that are being allotted for each class. The campus also has a gym which is very affordable at Rs.200/- per month.

I have selected the course of BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications). The academics aren't that easy or that hard. The teaching staff and faculty members are so kind and responsible in their work, which makes the student eligible to study harder. There aren’t many requirements for joining the college. The more you score in 10th and 12th, the more opportunities you have to secure a seat.

Like I said previously, one of the main positive aspects of the campus is its faculty advisors, teachers and non-teaching staff. All of them are experienced and are very kind. There are more than 150 teachers in the UG department itself. They teach the papers and topics very accurately making sure that the concepts are well understood for the students.

The campus is set up in the misty and foggy background of the hill station in Idukki called Kuttikkanam. The college infrastructure is simply tremendous and is vast in area. The campus has many facilities that everyone including the faculties could avail. The best part is that it is completely up to date in terms of technology and social relevance.

As a whole, I am really satisfied with the college and hence I am expecting the college life for the 4 years to be fantastic. Till now, I have enjoyed every single bit of it, especially the main cultural events, fests and competitions within the college. Here there are more than 3000 students and it’s a pleasure to be one of them and to study in this college for 4 years is something that's exciting and promising.
