My Life in SGTBIMIT

Overall Rating
SGTBIMIT is an institute affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Inderprastha University. This institute offers 3 courses, Which are Bachelor of Computer application (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and B.Com (Honors). My overall experience is good because the faculty is supportive and listens to the student’s query. There are various facilities available like library with almost 70 sitting capacity, 4 different computer labs with latest computers, the sports events, decent placement and the cafeteria is sufficient to fulfill the hunger of students.
 

Academics Rating
Currently, SGTBIMIT is offering 3 different courses, which are BCA, BBA, and B.Com (Honors) To take admission you have to clear the CUET exam and based on the rank in the CUET exam you can apply for this institute Their no is eligibility for BCA student from any stream can apply. I took BCA course due to placement results of this institute and my interest in coding.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is good here. As of now, all the faculty members for all the courses are permanent and well experienced. They are supportive towards the students. Their teaching style is also good. They give both the practical and theoretical knowledge of the subject they teach. There are some new teachers also but they are also good and well qualified.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in this institute, which takes care of all the placements, internship, and placement related activities. Yes, it helps students but as of now, there are not so many placements but if you are good at studies and skills then you might get placements.
 

Hostel Rating
No, this institute does not have any hostel or residential facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
SGTBMIT has good and clean infrastructure with well-equipped resources. There are different floors for different courses. The first floor is for BBA and the second floor is for BCA. In the classroom, there is a capacity of maximum 60 students. All of them are equipped with air conditioners and the washrooms are clean. There is a cafeteria. There is a library with the capacity of around 70 students at a time. There are computer labs for BCA students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. Because of its geographical location, everything is nearby. For example, all the restaurants and famous places like NSP. In the campus itself, there are many cultural and fun based events organized by different societies. There is a common fest of GGSIPU. It is free for everyone who is in the affiliated institutes with this university. Some of the festivals are celebrated in the campus itself.
