Overall Rating
I was searching for a good private medical college and then after doing research I found out about this college, Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Science and Hospital. It’s the no.1 private medical college in West Bengal and it has good and well qualified faculty members. The Institute is approved by NMC and is very good. I like how it maintains the balance of academic activity and extracurricular activity to encourage students.

Academics Rating
Mostly all of our academic activities are based on practical experiences along with the theoretical parts. The college encourages students to attend the lectures and be present in every college activity. I love the practical parts and I always attend that along side of my lectures. We got many students who have enrolled in Hons. Subjects in both my batch and senior batches.

Faculty Rating
I have the best faculty members. The faculty members of Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Science and Hospital are very supportive. This is like our 2nd home. They teach us scold us as well as help us in many aspects of life like our parents do. They tell us about the future that we have to plan and also how to cope up with the world. They not only teach us about medicine but also give us important lessons of life as they are experienced.

Placement Rating
Yes, Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Science and Hospital has a placement cell. Students who study in this college can also get job here in the hospital. It has very good patient flow as it's very near to those who live near the highway. This hospital also gives facilities like the government one does. This is also a reason of the heavy patient flow.

Hostel Rating
I myself am a hosteller. I do like my hostel as it’s very close to the college. My hostel building is next door to academic building. We have 3 students in 1 room and we all share the room and discuss about the studies. In my opinion it was good because if anyone of us had doubts, the other 2 would help us. We also have playing ground near the hostel.

Infrastructure Rating
The college has very good infrastructure. It’s all green, full of trees and also there is hospital inside our campus next to our academic building. We also have canteen. I like how it feels and how freely we can move in the campus. It feels very nice and good. The college has nice hostel and hospital along with academic building with all important stuff necessary for teaching including smart boards.

Campus Rating
The campus has 1 big ground and 1 badminton court. The badminton court is near girl’s hostel and that big ground is behind boy’s hostel. The girl’s hostel is near the hospital and next to it there is our academic building. It’s very nice we also have a good walking space in front of our hostel for both boys and girls. Overall I love it.
