RDDCRC, Nagpur is the Best Non-Government Dental College

I gave my NEET-UG exam in 2022 and secured decent marks. I wanted to pursue MBBS like every other NEET-UG aspirant, but due to lack of few marks, I could not get MBBS in government College, so the second best option I had was dental. The best non-government Dental college in my city, Nagpur is RDDCRC. I’ve enrolled in this college because it has a very good reputation. It has a very nice patient flow here. The faculties are well known doctors of Nagpur. This college is 1 KM away from Metro Station, so it is easily accessible from everywhere in the city. Hence, the transportation is not a problem here. It is private college, which is affiliated to MUHS (Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik). all the government and well-known colleges are part of this university. It is accredited by the NAAC. This college has a very good infrastructure. It has a very vast campus including hostels, canteen, garden, playground, football, ground, basketball, ground, volleyball court, turf, GYM, salon, etc. If you’re looking for a very good non-government Dental college that can offer a very good college life and a good campus, then you can apply here.

BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) has a journey of four-year learning plus one-year internship, a total of five years. In the first year, you have to study four theory subjects with the practical and pre-clinic subject. In the final exam of first year, you have to give exams of four theory subjects with the practicals. There is one pre-clinic subject that you will study or practice in the first year, its exam will be held in the next year that means second year. Now in second year, you have again for theory papers with the practical and to pre-clinics, which you have to give exam in this year only. In the third year, you have three exams for three subject’s theory and practical. Additionally to this, you have to go for the postings of each department in the college for clinical exposure. In the last and the fourth year, you have to study eight subjects, which are the eight departments of Dental, and you have to do clinical/you have to treat patients and you have to give eight exams theory plus practical. After the fourth year, one-year internship, compulsory, you have to do in the college according to MUHS guidelines. BDS not only includes theory but also have a huge practical base. It’s both theory and practical, which makes studying and learning more interesting enthusiast.

In my college, the faculties are BDS and MDS qualified and are well-known doctors of Nagpur who are practicing Dentistry outside the college. They teach us with respect to the clinical experience and with different teaching techniques. They use PPT’s to make learning easier and conduct different activities such as quiz and many more. Some staff is very good in teaching while other is average, but they give equal attention to students who are interested in the subject or course.

No, we do not have a placement cell in RDDCRC. However, if you are skilled and very good in your practical work, then there might be a chance that college will acquire you as a staff/faculty.

Our college campus includes hostels. We have hostels separate for boys and girls and a Co-ed hostel for PG students only. Hostel room includes AC/non-AC rooms with three times meal in a mess. Laundry facilities are also available in hostel. Helper women are also there, if there is any requirement of cleaning your room. For girls, there is night security guard, mainly female for not allowing any male to enter and ensuring that all the girls are in the hostel before 10 PM. Boys do not have extreme restrictions, but they are also supervised by the security and make sure the safety.

Our campus includes two libraries, namely Central library and Dental Library. Central Library is basically at the centre of the campus and is so big that it can accommodate more than 500 students in it. It is open for 24 hours and it has a very good ambience, and it feels like you are in foreign. Library has every kind of books that are available in the market (related to the medical field). They are accessible for everyone who is the students of the college. In the library premises, a coffee house is also there which makes coffee for students who are paying for it. The name of the coffee house is Collective Lens. Our college also includes DB Mart for daily necessity products, stationery, clothing, etc. Our college also has GYM and canteen in it. It also includes salon and laundry. It also includes Turf for football and cricket.

Since my college has a very vast campus, students have very big premises to roam around after the college. Some sit in the garden and chitchat while some go in the restaurant to eat while some spend their time in the GYM while some go in the canteen, some stay in library and study. Clubbing is usually common in people who afford and manage to stay away from the room/hostel room with the permission of their parents.
